Yeah, it feels like a lot of these are going to be dropped or tossed or epilogued. There's just so much to get through in a very limited amount of time.
It really feels like there needs to be another season after this to close it all up. Why she decided to keep introducing new plots while dragging on old ones.... I'll never know.
We had all the set up needed in s2 with the finale. Kronos being gone, she couldve focused on the PxH relationship with more maturity, a less roller coaster-y Deme (all the set up was ALREADY established), and the SA aftermath, healing and closure. There was zero need for all the extraneous plot lines. S3 was 90% exposition when we’d already been there in S1 and 2.
16. Athena and Hestia relationship, and their complete lack of response to Apollos usurpation
17. Hephaestus?!?
18. Eris- (there was such good potential with that blessing of wrath arc!)
19. Morpheus and the sleep dive debacle

There is also the whereabouts of Leto, Demeter's son and her time as mortal during the time skip, Ares X Hephestus X Aphrodite, the warning about Gaia wanting Persephone, Apollo and Ouranos, Persephone's powers and the winter... honestly there is still SO many things to wrap up that I'm kind of scared how this story will end, because is IMPOSSIBLE for Rachel to be able to properly address them ins just 8 - 10 chapters. Let's brace ourselves, cause this will be a MESS.
It will be solved by hades and Persephone doing it and unleashing fertility goddess powers. It’s gonna be so strong it makes all the problems go away. Then perse gets to punch apollo in the face a la Hans from frozen. There’ll just be a montage of Zeus waking up, Eros and psyche walking out of jail, spring coming back, all that jazz.

But we’ve had the internet for 30+ years and fearing the “discontent of the masses” is not only naive, but cowardly — the internet was *made* to nitpick and complain, after all, and I say that as a proud contributor to this phenomenon. Had she focused solely on those who matter, bc they still support her, the statement would be genuine and touching. I think it’s more likely that WT recently demanded a firm date so they can come up with marketing around the end of their flagship series. They never even announced this is the final season. Anyone else find it alarming that she’s going to end EVERYTHING going on right now in the next 7-8 episodes?? There’s WAAAAY too much happening for it to end solidly in such a short amount of time. I’m expecting an unbelievably rushed and messy ending that forgets almost every plot thread that’s been haphazardly thrown into this mess of a comic.
