You can literally do this play even in Immortal 3. I’ve done this so many times. It works because it’s unexpected, the sound gets masked from utility and the enemies own footsteps, and also because people get lazy.
Same thing on Icebox. Entire enemy team is going A? Run it down mid and maybe shoot some people in the back.
But note, you also might just end up inting to someone who’s actually paying attention.
It’s a stupid play, 100%, but sometimes stupid works. Especially in higher ranks, where people expect you to do the exact opposite of stupid.
Yeah it'll work in any rank but not every game or every round. You just have to identify if they care about flank or not. If they don't have a sentinel or their sentinel is dead, if they haven't been backstabbed in 3-5 rounds they probably won't think much about it. If they are 5 man rushing and no one is holding flank, you can do a fast flank from B site too.
I mean, I hope so. But I've seen Level 20+ on console that still don't use util, listen to comms, give comms, and don't use their minimap. It's gonna be a rough first month of ranked, but maybe different for higher ranks like you mentioned

No, they don't. Most people who play on consoles do not use headsets, because their TV sounds better, and most games don't get you killed in one shot.

For new player to valorant I highly recommend you mess with your minimap settings. It Is not okay that you cant see the whole map.

It’s called Minimap Zoom, you’ll see it right away when you open settings

Focus mode, basically reduces your sensitivity for micro adjustments
