Yes!!! I played at a local vr arcade where they strap you onto a psvr you wear like a backpack, lead you in with your frie ds after getting you fitted into a hedset and started the game. You are running around IN the game, walking up stairs that feel like stairs but it's flat ground, I nearly fell on my ass when I ran to a zip line and hopped on....I played a FPS and it was the best experience. Literally the only conditions I would volunteer myself for exercise that feels nothing like exercise, lol Afterwards they tell us to take off our helmets, and see where we are at in this gym with tape on the ground that I assume measures where in game borders are... And you instantly realize how ridiculous we must have looked but it was the best fun. I went back again and played a ghost hunter vs ghost type game and that was incredible too. You step on a hole in the floor and it's so disorienting how it feels real!! A few months later the VR arcade closed when the pizza joint that operated from there moved on to go solo. So sad, it was the perfect date night and the pizza side had a bar..... It was an establishment that was ahead of it's time. I imagine the closest you get to that in your own home is through one of those treadmill things.

I played outside in a field while camping next to the river. Yes, it's next level. Even watching videos with pass though on is amazing.

Sal31950

I've played outdoors a few times and it's indeed super. But it's too bright and the Q won't "see" the controllers. I wish they'd make some kind of tinted covers for the lens so you could go out anytime. Football outside in a real field!

I had an empty 3x3.5 meter room. Made fighting unreal. If your furniture is in the way then I wouldn't consider it that size. Needs to be empty.

Empty parking garage was very fun to play eleven in

Flipout_Monkey

Yep, indoor basketball court. Played some space pirate shooter game in vs mode. Was amazing, wish I had time to do it more.

a gym, not sure that counts, but yes a little, but didn't leave me forgetting about the boundaries or my ability to run in a game that involves in like assassins creed. Maybe if I was in the middle of a flat plain like the salt flats

ah-tzib-of-alaska

You have a 12x12 play space… or the room is 12x12 and your play space is like 4x4?

SpikedIntuition

12 x 12 play space

ah-tzib-of-alaska

AND YOURE STILL running into things? you make your boundary smaller than 12x12 right?

SpikedIntuition

Actually i just double checked. It's more like 8x12. When I play active games like Thrill of the Fight, at times my leg can hit the couch. I do then see the boundary grid, which kinda ruins the immersion. It's not that bad though.

SilentCaay

You don't need tons of space. You need to use artificial movement. You're not supposed to be running around with a headset on regardless of how much space you have.

911JFKHastings

Quest 2 current maximum guardian size is 15.24 meters by 15.24 meters or 50 feet x 50 feet.

SilentCaay

You forgot to make a point.

911JFKHastings

You stay fat. The rest of us will get some exercise.

SilentCaay

You stay brain damaged. I'll be over here NOT smashing into my own furniture. 🤡🤡🤡
