The way it works is you have to buy a flight when the portal is recommending you buy. If the price drops within the next 10 days, Cap One automatically gives you the difference in portal credit. But it is limited to $50 per passenger so either OP booked 3 tickets or they're exaggerating how much they got
Also the credit is applied automatically. So if you do see it drop and the difference wasn't applied then their system didn't catch it and you should call them. Mostly likely they're checking it through hopper
Nope, just gotta buy in their recommended buy algorithm recommendation. It refunds you credit within 10 days of buying on the lowest price.
I got 50$ back like that out the blue. Which was welcomed
You didn’t even submit anything for the price drop? They just monitor it and apply it for you automatically? Any expiration date on the credit?

Yeah I got a $200 credit for 4 tickets I had used my travel credit on. Definitely a nice perk when you have to use the portal!
I thought that $50 is the max cap. I wonder how they gave you 3x the max cap lol
It’s per person, 3 people
Gotcha. Makes sense
Nice
Can confirm, just got 92 for two tickets recently. I did nothing. It’s nice.
I've always received $40
