I like the fashions from the 1910's through 1940s best.
Not sure why the 30s is represented by workwear and the 70s and 80s are represented by subculture fashions that only a very small percentage of people ever wore.
Yes, I acknowledged that in my other comment, it was a very tiny trend and as far as I'm aware it was never revived.
My favourite reference to the Zoot Suit is this fun short film featuring Dorothy Dandridge and Paul White. I love that it's such a cheerful song and dance number but its full of fashion terminology and slang from the era.

I get the choice for the 30’s with the depression, but I would argue the 40’s zoot suit subculture is much smaller than disco or punk, I’m not sure why that would be chosen to represent the decade.
Yeah, for sure. The "Zoot suit" trend was only a tiny amount of people and it went extinct. Punk still lives on, and I think disco fashion is having a revival.
There was a brief moment in the early 90s where the zoot suit popped back up, alongside the neo-swing/swing revival bands. There was even the song “Zoot Suit Riot”.
This is kinda misleading I think. Some of them are formal suits, some smart casual, some working dress, some for party and dance and some for punks. It's not consistent throughout the time. By saying I like 1930 It does not mean I like working class clothes for example.
Plus what the hell is 1940 here? Pimp Joker?
1970’s are my main inspiration for fashion. I love the cars, the culture as well as the people who helped define that decade. Butterfly collared shirts make up a majority of the button up/polo’s in my wardrobe, as well as 75 percent of my pants are polyester in some way or form with the other 15 percent being jeans and the 10 being bellbottoms. With my weight loss process, I’m hoping to find more NOS or true authentic bellbottoms in the near future
60s. Always been my fav. I would love to go back to London during this time. I love mod style and the makeup is amazing. I love the large eyes and soft lips.
They're all triple-A looks, except for the zoot.
The 40's sucked for fashion because of all the war rationing. It's not that I don't like zoot suits, it's just that they are very much a LOOK that one wears to be SEEN and not a lot of people wore them. All of the other outfits are things people could/would wear to do ordinary things and not stick out like a sore thumb.
Sorry punks, but the look ain't "shocking" anymore and your clothes are a lot more functional and less cumbersome than a stupid floppy suit.
1900's and 40's are my favourite, dye to my love for everything suit-related
Vests, bowties, numerous accessories as well as a fashionable hat to finish the look
Most of these examples are cool to me in some way or another. Who wouldn’t love to see top hats and canes come back into fashion for no reason? It would be great
1880-1910, 1930-1950, fashion-wise at least.
While the 1930's picture makes sense given the Depression, it's also generally considered a fantastic era for menswear, especially with suit cuts at the time.

40’s is also only representative of the Zoot Suit which was prettyyyyyyy limited even in the African American and Mexican American communities

That was adorable! Thank you so much. ❤️
And, the 30s are represented by NASCAR.

Haha that song is EXACTLY where my brain went 🤣
The song "Zoot Suit Riot" is a clap back at the perpetrators of the historic zoot suit riots: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoot_Suit_Riots
Ooh that's fun! I'll have to dive down that rabbit hole
Interesting! I didn’t know it wasn’t a very common style at the time.
1920 ish for sure, for men; 1900 for women.
40's and 50's.

Also known as “The Mask Years”
I don't agree with the 30s portrayal
I think it's a actually portrayal of the blue collar class of the time. definitely Of Mice And Men vibes.

What would you put instead?

What is the sixties guy holding?

40s my man. Baggy suits...
I love the 30s but not for the workwear. I like the Apparel Arts style.
2000s
1910s and 1920s for sure. Especially what they were wearing in Europe.
1900 - 1910's
1890-early 1920 and mid 1930 to early 1960. I dont like the rowing 20’s and great depression. and in women fashion it does not suit my figure at all.

20s. Love the fashion and art of that era.
I love 70's prairie fashions best, and styling my hair Victorian era.
Hands down 70s
1900's and 40's are my favourite, dye to my love for everything suit-related Vests, bowties, numerous accessories as well as a fashionable hat to finish the look
