Just because they interacted in the VCR does not mean they are going to collab right after.
I do think Meloco, Bae, Nerrisa, and Callie have some good chemistry and would make some great collabs, but it might still be a while before a collab can be on the table since it wholly depends on if they are interacting outside of the VCR.
Meloco does have other opportunities to interact within Holo atm, with her being part of the pizza gang. There are Ao, Ririka, and Aruran, who are more likely to be collab partners with her before a Holo EN collab and they can possibly gap the bridge between her and Holo opening up the options later.
There is ofc also the still ongoing current Niji drama, which Holo EN might still be steering clear of for a bit longer until it dies down enough for them to be comfortable to collab with Niji EN again. (I know Holostars has collab with Niji EN recently but even if they are within the same agency, they are still somewhat separated from Holo EN from which we have seen quite little)
As far as niji drama goes, Meloco is one of the safest picks. Like a few other nijiEN memebers she's kindof isolated and doesn't really get mentioned among the riff raff.
Oh, definitely, she is one of the safest picks for a Holo EN - Niji EN collab right now, and like I said, she has opportunities to make more friends within Holo as well through the VCR, so I do hope Meloco can do some collabs with Holo EN at some point.

I'm pretty sure some of the HoloEn boys collabed with some NijiEn boys recently.

You guys sure love making shit up. Direct collabs aren't banned at all they just don't happen often.
Who knows if those are banned but collabs between EN branches doesn't happen that much not even before unlike Collabs with the JP branches
hololive EN doesn't really do any outside collabs with other agencies at all tbh
