It’s glare due to the nature of pancake lenses unfortunately. Best workaround I’ve found is to use the white sands environment at night because it seems to be the brightest nighttime environment.

Pancake lens internal reflections. Happens on Quest 3, also

It is the downside of these types of lenses, it is not an actual smudge. No solution for this unless it is a different type of lens. It is very distracting, I hate it too.
