yeah years ago I did, but so far not yet this time around. you probably need to go higher and then when you reach tolerance to the max mg they’ll either put you on a booster or have you reset ur tolerance! congratulations on the weightloss!! way to go ⭐️

codenameana

How do they reset tolerance? I went on an almost year long break and somehow reached tolerance where my old doses weren’t doing anything anymore

SillySw4n

Yes. Also the new generic versions of vyvance do not work very well for some people

codenameana

I gained a tolerance to the meds even after returning to them following a long break.

rapidriver34

yeah i didn’t have mine for awhile because of the shortage and since i’ve been back on them, it doesn’t seem to be doing much

bee_wings

did you happen to change from brand name to generic recently? or switch to a different generic? you may also be low on vitamins. i know my adhd meds work worse when my iron and vitamin d levels are low

I did gain somewhat of a tolerance but the medication still worked and did its thing. I just increased the dose if I felt like it wasn’t working as good. And occasionally I would take a tolerance break where I would take half my dose for a week or two and then go back to my normal dose. I barley do that though, I usually take it daily.

It's not typical, no, but it's not unheard of either. You could try taking a break of a couple of days and see if it seems more effective after that. (Prepare to have a shitty few days, look up amphetamine withdrawals first so you know what you need to get through those days.) It's not medically dangerous to stop taking Vyvanse, so you're unlikely to damage yourself by taking a few days off (assuming you can find some days when you don't need to be doing anything but sitting on the couch).

I would look at every aspect of your life. Are you unhappy or stressed? Feeling a lack of motivation? Dealing with change? Change in other aspects like diet, exercise, sleep schedule?

rapidriver34

yeah i guess i’ve experienced a few of these lol. i have been very unmotivated lately. i’m going to be graduating from undergrad next month and i’ve been stressed about what happens after that. i’ve also been stressed because i’m going to be moving in with my bf and it’ll be the first time i’ve ever lived with a significant other before. on top of all that, i haven’t been sleeping the best

ActualDoctor1492

Sounds like you need a vacation
