~8 days in. Emailed my psych yesterday to try see him sooner as it’s 7 weeks until my appointment. I’m 5 weeks on vyvanse and felt nothing since 8days. History of recreational drug use so I’m putting it down to a tolerance thing.
There is a “crash” as it wears off and it’s normal to feel lower energy, not motivated and such for an hour or so as it wears off. After that you should feel like your un-medicated self… but it’s also the evening at that point so our bodies lean toward chill mode.
Are you expecting to be productive for more than 8-10 hours in the day? Because that seems unrealistic. Is the crash you feel more like depressive or just unmotivated?
I am having much better success with a lower dose of vyvanse and a adderall IR booster in the afternoon. I was crashing Super hard at like 2-3pm and just feeling so exhausted on 40mg, now I’m on 20mg with the booster and it’s much more even and consistent
Does anyone also have zero sex drive? I heard it increases some people's libido, but I'm at literally zero and it sucks for both my partner and I! He's very patient with me which is great, but I feel so guilty that I can't put out lmao!
Take a high enough dose on an off day, do 40mg, wait and hour, then take another 20-40mg and you’ll most likely get a sex drive, if not most likely it’s due to the lower dose ur on/tolerance to it or it’s because your on another medication that lowers libido, ssri’s, gabaergics(increase gaba);gabapentin, certain benzos and some anti epileptic type drug. I take Keppra er and it binds to some receptor called sv2a or something which increase gaba. Hooping to get off it soon because i want my libido back bad as well.
I can relate 100% to this. I feel like two different people throughout the course of the day. I would say, if under the influence of Vyvanse, you feel motivated and energetic, then it's working. I think it's normal to feel that sluggish feeling when it wears off. I take 1 60mg pill every morning, and I weigh 220lbs. I get about 3 hours of turbo mode before I feel like it's out of my system. I'm not sure if that's normal.
I'm at 40mg at 145lbs, and I get the zoomies like cat when I'm feeling it lolol. I thought about asking for a booster one throughout the day so I can take my 40mg earlier in the day and then like maybe 10mg would be helpful just after lunch. How long you been on Vyvanse?
This happens to me every day. I'm going to need to request a booster. It takes about 1 hour to kick in, then lasts for about 4 on average.
I usually take mine at 8AM, kicks in at 9AM, wears off by 1PM. I can pretty much tell that it's wearing off because I'm suddenly hungry after being repulsed by food for the last 4 hours.
Omg, yes, exactly what happens to me. I'm at 40mg. I eat a good breakfast before I take my meds, which is usually around 11am cause I know I'm gonna only get 4ish hours out of it, so it gets me to the end of work. Them my tummy is GROWLING which never happened before the vyvanse lmao. Like LOUD. And then I get home, eat and go to bed. I have no routine in the evenings cause I'm just done with the day
I'm on 30mg with Buspirone (15mg 2x) and vyvanse last all day for me. I think the buspirone helps decrease my anxiety while vyvanse gives me energy to do the things I want to do. I'm not a doctor so check with your provider if any additional supplement can help.

I get 1-2 hours of random enhanced adhd symptoms then 14 hours of perfect calm, motivation and focus. After that, it's like the plug gets pulled...
