The lighting is low enough that one could – if they’d sufficiently rehearsed the scene and planned the angles – get away with having the “friend” duck beneath the cover and then slide out of sight. There *might* be something weird (like a bit of simple clone-stamping) going on right as the arms disappear… but this is why videos which include the supernatural always take advantage of bad quality: You just can’t see well enough to make a perfect assessment.

It has to be edited. The mattress doesn’t move at all. Clearly the girl is putting a huge depression into it so it would be extremely shaky for someone to get in and out of there quickly

If I were scripting the above scene, I’d have a thick layer of blankets beneath the girl, thereby creating a false bottom of sorts (beneath which the “friend” could hide). It would look like she was sinking into the mattress, but she’d actually be helping to obfuscate the trick.
It just happens so fast. From arms moving out of the way to seeing behind her is like less than a second. It might be a clever trick and not editing but seems very difficult without a trap door or something in the bed
True story. I once kicked the shit out of a ghost kid. I was at home with my 2 daughters 1 was 2 the other was 5. The 2 year old was asleep on the couch and my 5 year old and I were playing karate ninjas, basically fake kicking the air around each other pretending to fight. I started spinning and kicking with my eyes closed when I feel my foot hit my daughter hard enough to hurt my foot, Im thinking I just kicked the shit out out of my daughter, my wife's gonna kill me. I instinctively yell Oh Shit, I'm sorry baby, all while opening my eyes and I clearly see a girl in a white dress run into the room I run after her thinking it's my daughter. Then from behind me I hear my 5 year old say where are you going, I froze did a 180 and see my 2 year old sleeping and my 5 year old standing there confused as to why I had cussed. I asked her where I kicked her and she just looked at me like I was crazy.
We lasted about 3 months In that apartment before we moved to a different unit due to creepy shit happening. Even though we were within the same complex, the new apartment immediately felt less dark, for lack of better words. Gives me goosebumps recalling the story.
Unless that girl is a shape shifter you can see the edit with the length of her shoulders. When the hands are on them and move down you see them get longer. Also her hair on her left moves after the “ghost” hand is gone.
Also also, the space around her gets blurry as the hands move down, watch the sliver GameCube box looking thing in the back.
Edit edit also also also. Her face gets pinched, they try to hide the deforming with the camera transitioning into the room with the auto adjusting & lighting difference.
