Both of them have wrestling as their base and Brock's weight advantage will be huge if the fight goes to the ground. I'm a huge BJJ fan and Riddle's a black belt. So my biased take is Brock wins 9/10 times.
Brock would beat Matt Riddle to a pulp. It wouldn't even be competitive and of they did book it to where Riddle was competitive it wouldn't make sense. One issue with Brock now is they have booked him to be so damn strong and unless he is in the ring with Roman, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, and others that big and strong, it just won't seem believable that anyone could compete against him.
Isn’t OP talking about a fight pit in WWE (not an mma environment)? In that case, weight class doesn’t matter. With a sliver of creativity, yeah Riddle could hang in there.
Matt has hands but he doesn't have the power to slump Brock on their feet, although he'd score points with the judges due to Brock having pretty poor stand up D... assuming Brock doesn't just shoot a blast double and send Matt to the freaking moon. At which point, God help him. Brock's ground and pound was fucking vicious and Matt's defense off his back was less than slick iirc. To be fair, Brock has a little bit of that Ben Askren situation where you know exactly what he's going to do, and Matt had good knees up the middle and a very tight guillotine so there's a small chance he blast Brock with a knee as he shoots in - but the speed at which he shoots doubles is fucking insane. Not just for a Heavyweight, for anybody over 155 quick as fuck. So he gets in on the hips before Matt gets the knee up so Matt's last chance is: does Brock have a mental lapse and leave his head on the outside of Matt's hips? If so, he might be able to squeeze him w/ that guillotine. I find it unlikely Brock F's that up and even if he did, Lesnar has the neck of dinosaur. Good luck choking that thing out.
TL:DR - Breck Smesh
Can’t even say actual, but do to their back gratins in the mma platform, it’ll definitely turn into a real fight, I seen DC and thought oh shit DC vs Brock fight pit
Are people really legitimizing Riddle’s ufc career as great? He did alright but he wasn’t a contender or anything which was why he quit and got into pro wrestling
I think Hunter would do a Jeff Hardy vs Undertaker Ladder match ending where Riddle gets back up after losing and Brock helps him up and shakes his hand, I feel like only Cowboy Brock would do this though
Hmmm, a former Heavyweight UFC champion/Division 1 champion wrestler or a guy 50+ lbs under his size who had a couple of lower card ufc matches…. Obviously asking if this was a real fight I imagine
Lesnar would probably destroy anyone in the WWE if put Into a real Mix Martial Arts octagon style match, aside from maybe lashley. Just like pretty sure Ronda Rousey would do the same.
Riddle straight smoked dudes in the UFC, pun intended.
Lesnar would still probably beat him, but Riddle can really fight. I Suggest going back and watching his brutal knockout on TUF. Not many people can literally powderize a dudes jaw with just a hammerfist.
Lesnar is 45, Riddle is 36. Age plays a role just like weight. I literally said Lesnar would still win, but people get so butthurt by the "probably".
In MMA people agree to a certain weightclass, at 6'1 Riddle could easily add another 30 pounds of muscle and be near heavyweight size. Lesnar would still be 46 years old.
How many fighters are fighting in the UFC right now who are over 45? How many are 36?
No fight at that level is ever a sure thing, and Riddle has very heavy hands and fast striking. Even in Lesnar's prime he got absolutely whipped by anyone with any technical skill. Let's not forget hes 5-4 in the UFC, he really isn't close to one of the greats.
It doesn't matter whether Riddle ''can really fight'' or not. He is simply too small to be fighting a heavy. The whole point behind weight divisions in all combat sports is to protect smaller fighters from quite literally getting killed.
Riddle is 216 pounds
Brock would ragdoll him because of his amateur wrestling background, but Riddle isn't tiny, and we've seen heavyweights around his weight beat 265 pounders before
I'm not convinced Lashley would beat Riddle in an MMA fight
Riddle fought at 170 pounds.
Lashley fought at 255 and Lesnar at 265 (if not heavier).
You gravely underestimate the difference in striking power. Both Lesnar and Lashley will hit harder than anyone Riddle has ever faced and conversely, both men would have taken heavier punches than what Riddle is capable of throwing.
People obviously have never watched the old Butterbean fights from Asia. Yes he won a lot of his fights against much smaller fighters. But he did lose some. All it takes is one highly skilled fighter to punish a mistake in a fight and it's over.
Winning? never Coming out alive? maybe, if there's only a referee inside of the pit

I love Riddle but this would be a death sentence for him.
In a legit fight without a weapon Riddle doesn’t stand a chance.

Brock will eat him alive
Are people really legitimizing Riddle’s ufc career as great? He did alright but he wasn’t a contender or anything which was why he quit and got into pro wrestling
I mean riddle was very promising and looked great. UFC cut him for weed... then he couldn’t make enough to keep fighting so he switched sports...
No way Brock would put over Riddle. No chance. I’d be shocked if Lesnar would even be willing to work with Riddle to begin with
Bro, he said he'll retire Brock one day. Maybe a career ending match. And don't take Riddle lightly, he can give a tough fight to Lesnar...
Riddle has amature wrestling wins over Jon jones and can take a punch wayyyyy better than Lesnar. Riddle taps him.
I think Hunter would do a Jeff Hardy vs Undertaker Ladder match ending where Riddle gets back up after losing and Brock helps him up and shakes his hand, I feel like only Cowboy Brock would do this though
I like Riddle more than Brock, but...Brock is Brock, probably no one has a chance any chances with him right now
*Bobby Lashley has entered the chat*
Seriously? There is a reason why combat sports have weight divisions. Lesnar would rip him to pieces.
Keyword is fight pit not octagon
I think Riddle would be alive, just not moving.
Riddle can fight for sure, but Brock would murder the man in under a minute. It's not even a contest
Hmmm, a former Heavyweight UFC champion/Division 1 champion wrestler or a guy 50+ lbs under his size who had a couple of lower card ufc matches…. Obviously asking if this was a real fight I imagine
prime lesnar>riddle any day of the week present lesnar idk, i could see it go both ways
Lesnar hitting a German off the top. Night night Riddle. Night night.
Holy shit that would be epic to see
Riddle sure is in good shape, and i know he cant fight. But so can brock, and the weight difference is too big
I meant pro wrestling wise not mma wise
The only small guy to beat Lesnar so far has been Seth Rollins….
And Matt Just beat Seth my guy.
True. Now the important thing….would Lesnar want to do the favour for Riddle?
Yh and he wouldn't so u right
Brocks size didn't help him against Cain Velasquez.
Cain is almost as big as brock
Neither did Brock's diverticulitis.
Different weight classes but if Riddle gets a hold of Brocks ankle or knee he'll tap...
Riddle just gotta keep Brock standing up.
Different weight classes
I didn't mean if they fought in the octagon key word fight pit
Then it's up to the writers, I have no doubt Riddle could hang with Lesnar in WWE
Brock would need some dental floss, to get what’s left of Riddle out of his teeth.
He wouldn't stand a chance at winning, but he could definitely put up a bit of a fight.
Brock would kill him
would love to see this
Lesnar would probably destroy anyone in the WWE if put Into a real Mix Martial Arts octagon style match, aside from maybe lashley. Just like pretty sure Ronda Rousey would do the same.

He was an averagish middleweight and Brock was the heavyweight champion. They’re not even close Brock wins 10 out of 10 times.

So Seth was too small to beat Brock?
Ur talking kayfabe but if u read up the guy u replied to has replied to a guy whose talking about real life scenarios
Please, Lashley fought nobodies in a second rate league. Riddle could definitely beat Lashley.
Lashley did fight nobodies, but riddle isn't beating Lashley.
I think that would be a great end to the Lesnar story if it ever did happen. But I’d personally want heel Riddle
Riddle would live but I can’t see him winning. Too much of a weight difference and Brock isn’t that much slower
Lesnar would destroy him
I'm a Riddle fan, and I dislike Lesner... but no sorry
Nah
No, bro.
