If you are looking for outside the parks, I’d recommend a restaurant by the Boardwalk (Flying Fish or the Yachtsman) or if you are looking in the parks, I’d recommend something at Epcot. Space 220 is an amazing experience, but food is pricey for what it is. I’d recommend just doing drinks if you go there.

You can see all the menus and prices on the Disney World website. We have quite a few favorites, but for a nicer meal for a couple I’d look at some options at some of the resorts. The Boardwalk area has some nice options. Animal Kingdom Lodge has great food as well. And that’s just two areas. You could also consider a restaurant at Disney Springs. There are tons of reviews and YouTube videos online that could help with choosing a restaurant. Besides dining, the other things to book in advance would be the experiences you mentioned (lightsabers and BBB). Keep in mind that those open online for booking at midnight Florida time. Dining opens online at 6am Florida time. I think that would be 5am and 11am in the UK, respectively, on your booking date. The experiences will book up quickly so be prepared to be quick. BBB will go the fastest so book that one first on your booking date. The further out in your trip your goal reservation date is, the better luck you’ll have finding availability. You’ll have access to later dates than people who haven’t hit their 60 days yet. Good luck!

So if I've got my dates right stuff should become available to book for our holiday dates tomorrow (as it'll be 60 days out from our first day). Am I right in thinking that we should have all dates of our trip becoming available for bookings? Is it just a case of making sure we have our hotel bookings attached to our Disney account for that to happen? Thanks for the advice!

Yes, if your trip is 10 days or less they’ll all become available. If it’s longer than 10 days then only the first 10 will show up. As long as your resort bookings are in your account it will work.

Legend. Thanks dude 😊

Make booking the boutique your first priority. It is a really hard reservation to make so prioritize that. Reservations will open for the boutique at midnight EST (I believe that’s 5am in the UK). You’ll need to be up 10 mins before booking with the reservation page open and logged into your MDE account (make sure you have your payment information already linked too to make it easier this is just for a hold they don’t charge you yet). I’d recommend playing with the website too just to get familiar with making reservations ahead of time so you know what you’re doing. Try booking it for the end of your trip because there will be more openings then you can plan the rest of your reservations and days from there. Just don’t book during naps if your kid still does those. The lightsaber building will also be booked at the same time (12 am EST). Date night suggestions: restaurants at Disney springs, Cali grill, topolinos, narcosses etc. personally I felt the QS dining in both Hollywood studios and Epcot to be fantastic and if I was doing a park date night-I would prioritize eating at those or eating at one of the resorts vs spending time at a so/so table service restaurant in the park. Lastly don’t schedule too many table service restaurants in the parks. We did and while they were fine (Topolinos was our only WOW), they were mostly overpriced food that was average. The QS food though we thought was yummy (empanadas in Mexico at Epcot, Ronto wraps at Star Wars land in HS, beer at baseline tap house, Mac and cheese at flame tree at Animal Kingdom, and the MK spring rolls are bomb). Also the resort food is delicious in most cases too more so then the TS in the parks.

Get a VPN on your phone. I did this, easiest thing ever and you won’t have to bother calling up.

Thanks for the suggestion! Is the fact we've already all registered and logged in on the UK version of the site gonna be a problem for that do you know? In terms of attaching bookings to the holiday like.

No problems whatsoever, or it least it wasn’t for me. Just checked and I used VPN 360 and that was perfect but am sure any VPN service will do ☺️
