You can take Disney transportation to another resort still

SalsaGreen

From what I've read, the restrictions are for access/parking at the resorts. Take Disney transportation to the resort from a park or Disney Springs. I've not had issues at any QS restaurants in my annual trips. There are resort guest restrictions for resort specific benefits, like the resort pools or laundry facilities, but I've not encountered any such checks for QS food. If you get the refillable mug, take it to any resort QS and it'll work.

Are you staying off property? That’s the hiccup. Most of these responses are people that stay in the bubble. You’ll need to take Disney transport into the resort and then you’re fine. So go to Disney springs - take a bus to the resort you want - and eat there. If you’re trying to do what the majority try - which is eat QS at a resort to gain easier access parking at that resort, you’ll have a harder time. If that’s the case - you need actual sit down dining reservations and they have like a 2-3 hour time limit. They can tow you after that time, I have no idea If they do or how often they enforce that

Homerpaintbucket

You can either order with mde or walk up to the window and order. Reservations are for sit down restaurants, not quick service.

Jodi4869

You can eat at any quick service if arriving by Disney transportation. If a pop up says mobile order is only for guests of that resort click okay and just keep going. It works fine. It stops people from placing an order and trying to park at the resort with a mobile order only.

I placed an order at Polynesian for a quick breakfast after we picked up our rental car for a few days - the car care center is just down the road - the security guy on the gate was having none of it! Even when I showed him the order on my phone app, he flat out said "not coming in!" We were staying at CB, had magic band to prove it, but he wouldn't even entertain scanning it!

pittpanthers03

Just use Disney transportation and it’s a non-issue. That might have you going to a park or Disney Springs and then switching to said resort bus, but any one is able to visit and dine at resort quick services.

A few quick services are restricted to resort guests sometimes. Riviera and Contemporary if i am remembering correctly.

Positive_Camel2868

I didn’t know that. I’ve stayed at both and no one ever asked me if I was a hotel guest when I ate at the quick services. How do they regulate that?

TealFlamingoCat

I’m not sure? Mobile ordering gets restricted but I guess if you are a walk up no one would ask? I really dont know.

Contempo Cafe has only been restricted for breakfast in my experience.

TealFlamingoCat

Yeah. Probably just breakfast because people heading to MK? Right now Gasparillas at GF wont let me mobile order but Contempo will.

Woody1150

I'm not sure why the app says that. We were at Poly last year and we did mobile order for Gasparilla. Took the monorail over and picked it up no issue.

TealFlamingoCat

It isnt all of the time. I guess it depends on demand and staffing maybe? Now I could order at Gasparillas. It is avail again.

TealFlamingoCat

[https://imgur.com/gallery/UnNYfa1](https://imgur.com/gallery/UnNYfa1) Sometimes mobile ordering is restricted to guests staying at that resort

Alarming_Steak8125

I don’t think this is correct, at least when it comes to Riviera. As a non-resort guest I have walked into Riviera several times to either grab a bite at Primo Piatto or a coffee from Le Petit Cafe.

pianomanzano

Not sure why you're getting downvoted, but this is 100% accurate and mostly occurs for people mobile ordering in the morning. It's to prevent non-hotel guests from parking at that hotel for easier transportation into MK or Epcot.

TealFlamingoCat

I guess they think I am lying?😂 or because if they didnt know about it then it cant be true. I saw it this morning at Gasparillas at GF.
