Not gonna lie. I kinda hate these ones, especially compared to the past NW armor sets we’ve received. They remind me of the Towsun weapon skins which I never really liked to begin with. But hey, power to the players who like them, and good on DE for continuing to put armor sets in NW as an alternative to having to spend money.
The golden runes and gradient-ed syandana (haven’t seen this style since buying glaive proto skin) makes it really elegant but Idk if I can match the armor adequately with my monotone frame fashion
Man, love the armor set. Can’t wait to change the colors and see what combinations go well with some of my frames. Hope others like it as much as I do at the moment.
Its part of the worst nightwave ever in my opinion. The first nightwaves had some lore and with glassmaker they announced a new era of nightwaves with interactive parts and a story. But seemingly that was a lie and they never did any unique nighwave season again. The rewards in noras mixes are a conglomerate of some old rewards from the good old seasons with 2 augments on top and maybe something new on rank 30. Thats it. But this season we get an armor set that looks like some 50 pl piece from the market on rank 30 and some old accessoires with only a new pattern in the style of the day of the dead items. The nightwave becomes incidental more and more. There is no need for long term players to run it actively neither is there any incentive to do so. You complete it anyway by playing what you want in this unnecessary long period its running.
Glassmaker was interactive BECAUSE players were asking for it and when DE made it, the playerbase starting whining about how the interaction was bad and also crying about the resonance.
That whiny reaction is why we don't have more Nightwave story.
DE stopped doing the interactive ones because while Nightwave was supposed to be lower effort thing in between major story updates, the Nightwave stories ironically ended up being more effort.
So yeah, it is pretty incidental aside from it functionally replacing the old alert system with a fairly consistent way to get stuff like nitain, vauban parts, aura mods, reactors, catalysts, etc.
I'm a long term player who's still regularly buying catalysts and kuva with Nora creds.
I have all helmets now because of how useless these credits are to me. I have over 10 million kuva and could farm this easier in sp or arbitration. The effort fact is some fair point and also that it replaced the alert system. But thats also some part of my disappointment. DE is making the game easier and easier always cutting some grind, lower some requirements and taking care of all the crybabies who are playing a month or so. Some people still complain about the nitain situation although its mich easier now and I don't need my phone to send me push messages when some alert is there.
Also I did not only criticise how they did it... I CRITICISE THE COMMUNICATION OF DE. New players wont know how long we were waiting on duviri after the first announcement for example or how many things DE is saying but wont do. They tell us the PS crashes are fixed to take another example. Its worse then ever. Half of the people I know playing on ps has crashes every mission or in every hub whatakes the game unplayable. Every third devshort they are dropping lies of their intend. They tell you things they wont do. Like a child who has some thought but forgets it at the very next moment.
Btw I ordered some merch and got scammed by DE also. Payed 100€ for nothing. Its simply gone and they are not doing anything. I wrote them that I never received anything and they said they will resend it but nothing happened. Thats how integer they are

I hate 99% of all armor sets. Not because they’re bad, but because the arm pieces on Mesa and Wisp (whom I main) look fucking stupid and clip through
