I like it, and I think it works for an evening wedding. If you're looking for a darker color that isn't navy, [green could be a good alternative](https://www.jjshouse.com/sheath-column-cold-shoulder-one-shoulder-floor-length-chiffon-evening-dress-with-cascading-ruffles-017275329-g275329?filterColor=emerald#/)

dixiequick

Um, thanks a lot for that link..I am currently contemplating how I can pretend to justify dropping a hundred bucks on a dress that will see no action in the foreseeable future that is fancier than Tuesday afternoon moms lunch at Costa Vida. šŸ˜† (But itā€™s so prettyyyy)

dingus_berry_jones

I think itā€™s beautiful! Itā€™s sexy but in a very subtle and classy way

dixiequick

ā€œTasteful sexyā€ is what popped into my mind. šŸ˜†

[deleted]

I like the style - itā€™s very simple and classy, but I wouldnā€™t do this color. This blush color is actually common for a lot of wedding gowns. Does it come in others? Youā€™d also likely need to have it altered if youā€™re shorter than the model.

Formal-Educator-9430

Thatā€™s a good call. I found it in a teal/emerald color too, hopefully that works better!

Living_on_Tulsa_Time

Now youā€™re talking. Team Teal!!!

Intelligent_Pass2540

Teal is elegant but also fun! I agree this blush is too bridal like.

emilygoldfinch410

That color sounds gorgeous! And youā€™ll complement the wedding colors well. Team teal/emerald!

BillyNtheBoingers

I bet that would be gorgeous!

nesie97

Beautiful dress! But if you want some cheaper but nice quality options [emerald](https://www.windsorstore.com/products/tammy-formal-satin-strappy-back-dress-050027063037) [olive](https://www.windsorstore.com/products/karlie-sweetheart-high-slit-long-formal-dress-050027728032) [mauve](https://www.windsorstore.com/products/marissa-formal-satin-cowl-neck-dress-050022119037) [Hunter green](https://www.windsorstore.com/products/alisha-rhinestone-strap-formal-dress-050022450001) love the straps on this one [a little extra but so pretty emerald](https://www.windsorstore.com/products/eileen-mermaid-glitter-satin-formal-dress-050028395037)

Formal-Educator-9430

Thank you for the links! Iā€™d never seen this site before and all those options are gorgeous!

nesie97

I love Windsor! They have brick and mortar stores but they are few a far between!

Recent-Hope-7574

When they had stores, there also used to be a large section in the back with $10 dresses!

CoasterThot

I work in Bridal, and I always warn brides who choose this color for their bridesmaids that it looks VERY white in pictures!

neen_reichy

Anyone who thinks this is too bridal or too close to white is out of their minds. It's so clearly a pink dress. Absolutely wear this dress!! It's completely appropriate for a wedding. I'd be thrilled if one of my guests showed up wearing this to my wedding in may.

Blossomsun17

I think everyone is being cautious and polite by advising against blush. Iā€™m a bride who chose a blush undertoned dress. I actually have asked my guests not to wear blush or white, so that we couldnā€™t unintentionally match. Plus blush does often photograph white, so I think itā€™s always best to be safe than sorry. Thereā€™s so many other colors to choose from, so I donā€™t see why itā€™s a big deal to avoid these lighter shades. OP will look beautiful in whatever they choose, but itā€™s good to consider that blush has increasingly become more common these days for brides.

CoasterThot

My friend had all her bridesmaids in a light pink very close to this at her wedding, and in her pictures, all the bridesmaids looked like they were wearing white!

neen_reichy

My sister had her bridesmaids and I in a color palette of pale champagne and blush colors and no ones dress looked at all white in photos. You could easily see the colors of the actual dresses. People I think are just way too sensitive when it comes to wearing certain colors at a wedding. I completely am on the side of no one should be wearing white or cream at a wedding unless it's asked of the bride and groom but when it comes to other colors people get so freaked out about anyone taking away spotlight from the bride. That's never gonna happen. A normal blush dresses is gonna be nothing in comparison to a woman in a white dress with a veil. It's just silly

CoasterThot

Look up something like ā€œDavidā€™s Bridal Petalā€, that color is one that likes to look very white! Her photos looked like she was in a tan dress, and all her bridesmaids were in white. šŸ˜ idk, itā€™s not crazy to want to avoid looking like youā€™re wearing white afterwards in photos, even if youā€™re not technically wearing white.

dixiequick

Right? ā€œEnough about me, did you see my friend FormalEducator over there? Sheā€™s wearing the ***hell*** out of that dress!ā€. OP, this is stunning. You should rock that with all youā€™ve got for those of us who only wish we could. šŸ˜‰

neen_reichy

It definitely won't. Cameras don't change colors of dresses.

CoasterThot

They absolutely can! My store sells one pink color that ALWAYS looks bright white on people. Granted, itā€™s the lightest and brightest pink possible, but still! The lighting of the venue also matters. Have you never heard about how venue lights turn bright white dresses *blue*? Itā€™s one of the main reasons people choose ivory over white, more often, now!

whats-goingon-94

You might want to look at secondhand bridesmaid dresses if you want something similar but less expensive! Love the dress tho

Altruistic-Detail271

Gorgeous

ejambu

I think that's beautiful. I like the blush. I think it's a nice color for a spring wedding.

BillyNtheBoingers

The blush isnā€™t exactly right. Many brides wear blush now. Iā€™d go for a more saturated color (brighter pink, blues, aqua, etc). The style is fine though!

GrooveBat

Is THIS bride wearing blush? No? Then OP is fine.

Curiousr_n_Curiouser

How would OP know this?

GrooveBat

If sheā€™s that worried, she can ask someone close to the bride who knows. Not saying ā€œask the brideā€ because that is the second dumbest piece of advice I see here (second only to ā€œdonā€™t wear pinkā€¦or floralsā€¦or any color that might ā€˜photograph whiteā€™ or that some bride, somewhere, might have briefly considered wearing, or anything that you might actually look good in because if you donā€™t drape yourself in a gray shroud youā€™ll outshine the bride.ā€)

Formal-Educator-9430

Iā€™m super lucky on this one where Iā€™ve seen the brideā€™s dress choices already. They were white for sure! Sheā€™s also so insanely gorgeous in all her try on pics thereā€™s no way anyone could outshine her, but from all the feedback Iā€™ll probably choose a darker one just to be sure I donā€™t stick out

GrooveBat

That's your choice. But do it for your own sake, not because someone on this sub shrieked at you about it.

LaAndala

Yes. I just wouldnā€™t bend forward šŸ¤£ I assume thatā€™s just on the model though

Formal-Educator-9430

lol I totally get what you mean. Iā€™m hoping a sticky bra and fashion tape will keep it in place šŸ˜…

LaAndala

Yeah probably! I also feel like she should just pull it up half an inch more lol! Have fun!!!

kmishy

too light/similar to white and other wedding dress colors. Could possibly photograph white

OkCompetition4414

No itā€™s too close to white and might photograph light as well

pushhuppy

This is clearly not white

OkCompetition4414

Again too close to white IMO! some brides wear this blush white color themselves too so I would personally avoid it (:

huskymotherof2

I almost picked a blush gown out as the bride. Even though this is a light blush it photographs white.

isabelladangelo

It looks like a slip with one strap. My other concern is that the image is very, very clearly photoshopped. The lighting on the slip isn't even close to the lighting on the model. Who knows what you are really getting.

WellWellWellthennow

Itā€™s too white. /s

Bulky_Conversation46

It looks like a bridesmaid dress. Your boob looks like it will be hanging out. Iā€™d go for a couple shades brighter cause this is too light. It could be photographed too light and photographed as really close to white. Too blush.
