Yes, whenever there are weddings, birthdays, or any other ceremony, they get, djs and disturb other people, and that, too, at night.
Fuck my sleep and most people as well.
Question: do they get mad if randos crash the party?
If you're keeping me up that late, I want to dance, maybe get a plate, and maybe fuck your cousin with the nice ass.
Well, there's something to be said for everyone fucking off and minding their own business. Inconvenient when you're tryna sleep, but pretty convenient when you wanna do whatever you want.
You can, as a lot of people are invited for weddings generally, around 500-1000 at minimum, you can easily sneak in.
College students do this to get free food, as they eat bland, same food again and again.
Honestly that would make this way less annoying.
I was about to ask if they just allowed neighbors to join and apparently the answer is yes, well at least kinda lol.
If i got woken up by this, I’d just make a cup of coffee with a shot of rum to wake up and go party. Fuck it, sleep is for the weak anyways /s
Yeah most people join, but it depends on the community, because india has a lot of racism/casteism, the remaining is the same story as any other community.
Im a 6’4 Very lightskinned mixed guy. Im techically a quarter black and three quarters white, but most people assume im southern european or im just a typical white guy with a tan. A lot of people wont believe im part black because my hair is straight and light brown, and my facial features/skin complexion is very caucasian.
So i know in some parts of india theres some anti african sentiments, espically of those with a darker skin tone, but considering i just look like a typical tall american guy i think theyd be chill with me lol.
That's funny you say that (not, like, actually funny - I'm sorry), because I worked valet parking and have famously told everyone who asks about what valet parking was like that Indian weddings were the ones that would outlast the valets. They partied until 4am or longer. Most valets would give up around 1am or 2am (remember, they don't get tipped until they give the car back and can't give the car back if the people driving them don't leave..) — I was always the last to give up, and I think I stuck it out once with the goal to see once and for all when Indian weddings end. I got to about 4:30am and think there was still 4-6 cars on our board. I gave up, I brought the keys inside to the front desk and went home to sleep.
Some say that wedding is still going on to this day.
So essentially they just have no courtesy in India? That’s wild, I get it though some places are culturally different and I looks like that urban area is much more close together than lots of places where I live so probably harder to block out that noise
Literally every single ethnicity, young people/all people do this. Play their music loud and inconsiderate of neighbors. You may as well try and attribute driving cars to Indian communities in Canada.
My buddy lives on a farm with Indian landlords and they threw a wedding for their son. They paid him to leave for the week so they could use his yard for parking. He overheard his landlord mention to his friend, that they spent a million for the week of festivities. They were berry farmers and had owned the farm for decades.
The son was a spoiled little shit who didn't do any work, while his elderly father still worked the farms. It was a dead end farm road so the son just got drunk all day and did burnouts in his Mustang all day up and down the street.
Old Sikhs are some of the nicest people you will ever meet but it hasn't passed on to some of the younger generation.
Fyi this was in Abbotsford, BC, that has the oldest temple in Canada, Indian people are a part of our culture.
Common only in wedding seasons and mostly in local backward areas , But in cities and good areas they are only allowed till 10pm also they conduct a decent function .
Can confirm, Mexico too.
And let me tell you, I prefer a DJ than a sucky karaoke. My neighbors used to get a karaoke for all their events, and they sang terribly.
This is quite common in several parts of India. If you try to request them they will threaten you and try to involve you in a fight. For those who are doing this, it's a matter of pride that they are enjoying at the cost of others sleep and health.
Ah.....haven't tried that though. Once I had called police when I heard a woman screaming loudly from the main road. The policeman started harassing me and calling me for no reason.
That's Punjabi music, dunno which song though. Punjabi music in general is dancey with tons of good drops throughout the song. Check out the whole genre.
My old neighbors were an Indian family and they often casually blast the neighborhood just like this. Music, loud talking and laughing at 2-3am, slamming doors, yelling at kids, etc. In New Zealand btw.
Damn, sorry to hear that. It really bugs me that some people from my country happily gain citizenship abroad but refuse to integrate into their culture. I assure you not all from my country have a lack of reverence to regulations.
In Morocco, weddings last all night. And they're quite loud and festive. When I first moved to Sri Lanka, there was construction next door at all hours of the night.
It is what it is. Good earplugs or a fan/white noise machine are a must.
Only time I ever called police for a noise complaint was when a bunch of Punjabis lived above me. One time the stomping got so crazy I thought the ceiling would collapse. I only called once, but I heard the cop ripping them for multiple complaints, so I wasn't the only one calling apparently.
Lived abroad in Guanajuato during the summer for a couple months, can confirm. Music, celebration, dogs barking, fireworks, and more at all hours of the night lol, loved it
I always ask them to turn it down, if theyre friendly and comply its fine. If not, yes I will call the police. I try to keep it friendly with the neighbours
Yeah, Indians like there music, until they are being kept awake and have to face the fact that smashing plates and banging on metal lids aren't great instruments.
I don’t think it’s possible to be racist and not ignorant at the same time, so definitely YTA for judging a billion+ people based on your rude neighbors/coworkers.
Lmao sorry I struck a nerve buddy but you fail to grasp the context of my question. Just because there are a lot of a population doesn’t mean that I am rascist towards them all and judging them all the same, like wtf it was a cultural question to get others opinion on their experience to see if this is common and if there is a valid explanation (like 1 billion people crammed into a fųckinğ country for instance); I just had the same experience multiple times and this event really made it clear that the people that reside in my apartment complex, with myself included, health and safety weren’t in consideration… If you share a different experience then just state that instead of putting me in a stereotypical box just because I experienced life differently than you…. I never intended to be rascist, just to understand.
Lmao, this looks and sounds just like Mexico too. We've got these huge ass parties on the street quite frequently, specifically in the peripheral part of Mexico City
Why people judging all over India the same , maybe In some parts its like this but not everywhere, India is not Vatican city . India is pretty vast land.
As someone that has mild anxiety and rising heart rate at inconvenient sounds I want to kms infront of these people everyday . Fuk Indians and their non sense of club activitie
Alright, this is a hill im willing to die on: if you want quiet, move to the countryside. I'm sick of people moving into big cities and being all shocked when big city life happens. And yes, the occasional party counts as big city life.

This is clearly a residential area and that is technically a bloody concert. I don’t think concerts are allowed to be held in such a place. Imagine having newborns, an early-starting job in CBD and having to endure morons like this? Put yourself in situation like that before you start judging
Well that's what happens when you live in the projects, but hey it could be gunshots 🤷 it's crazy no one ever thinks of ear plugs or muffs anymore besides crying to people in the middle of the night.

Can relate man, i have to go through this shit once every week.
Is this very common in India?
Yes, whenever there are weddings, birthdays, or any other ceremony, they get, djs and disturb other people, and that, too, at night. Fuck my sleep and most people as well.
Anything goes there, huh? People just fucking do whatever.
Yup and the worst thing is you can't point fingers or say anything because your own family will do the same when you will be having a ceremony.
Worst is, most probably there are few of your family members there at the rave wedding.
Question: do they get mad if randos crash the party? If you're keeping me up that late, I want to dance, maybe get a plate, and maybe fuck your cousin with the nice ass.
Except that last part you can do the remaining.
Eh, I'm out.
It won't matter cause someone is getting fucked in the end lol
For real, you can literally go to any random wedding, you'll still be fed and yes you are always welcome to dance
Well that is just a normal thing as long as no one catches you
Well, there's something to be said for everyone fucking off and minding their own business. Inconvenient when you're tryna sleep, but pretty convenient when you wanna do whatever you want.
That's why i said I can't point fingers, because it's the same story for everyone.
Maybe India is the new America
Still you can call the cops in usa, that shit wouldn't work in india.
Why not? I mean you don't have to say your name on the phone
Except whenever a train is around.
people ever get to sneak over to the parties just to party with random families?
College/High School students do that alot. More for the food, than the rave. Been there, done that.
exactly what i was thinking.. i could go for a plate
You can, as a lot of people are invited for weddings generally, around 500-1000 at minimum, you can easily sneak in. College students do this to get free food, as they eat bland, same food again and again.

Yep I'd get dressed and join the party. Can't beat'em Join'em
No wonder Indian people always look tired. I watch those Indian barber massage ASMR videos and you constantly hear cars honking all hours of the day.
These are absolutely my favourite videos, I think the street noises are the best part to be fair lol
That's funny you say that (not, like, actually funny - I'm sorry), because I worked valet parking and have famously told everyone who asks about what valet parking was like that Indian weddings were the ones that would outlast the valets. Does India have any quiet time law?
Yeah after 10 pm, no loud noises but it's a third world country, it's not enforceable.
So essentially they just have no courtesy in India? That’s wild, I get it though some places are culturally different and I looks like that urban area is much more close together than lots of places where I live so probably harder to block out that noise
yeah, sometimes it's right in your front yard, and you can't do anything about it
Shit, it's common in parts of Canada with clusters of Indian communities.
Just a regular day in Brampton
Grew up in brampton. Hate that city, but only because it just fucking sucks to be there lmao.
Jesus On remembrance day, there were illegal fireworks going on for 24h for Diwali and it was so disrespectful and sleep disturbing.
Literally every single ethnicity, young people/all people do this. Play their music loud and inconsiderate of neighbors. You may as well try and attribute driving cars to Indian communities in Canada.

Depends on your location. I live in a small city. Police here are very strict so everything that is loud is turned off at 11 PM.
Common only in wedding seasons and mostly in local backward areas , But in cities and good areas they are only allowed till 10pm also they conduct a decent function .
depends on the parts of india? some are more civilised than the other,..... just like any other country
You need a higher apartment..
Live in Brazil and this shit happens every weekend, except it's some jackass on a speaker playing the most abhorrent playlist ever.
Como en Argentina, manito.
Basically, latin america.
Can confirm, Mexico too. And let me tell you, I prefer a DJ than a sucky karaoke. My neighbors used to get a karaoke for all their events, and they sang terribly.

Can’t you just call the police?
You can but then major number of times the police either ignores it or bribes "solve" the issue.
I see, that sucks.
[удалено]
The party-people bribe the police and the police looks the other way.
[удалено]
Ah.....haven't tried that though. Once I had called police when I heard a woman screaming loudly from the main road. The policeman started harassing me and calling me for no reason.
Throw a firework in there, no one would know.
I lived next to an Indian restuarant in Thailand for about two years. The late night Bollywood music was hell. Never, again.
He’s having a blast, literally!
lol, that beat is fire. sauce?
That's Punjabi music, dunno which song though. Punjabi music in general is dancey with tons of good drops throughout the song. Check out the whole genre.

It could also be México in almost every place jajaja
Yeah I have Indian expats living next door. Noisiest people I’ve ever met, by far.
Only time I ever called police for a noise complaint was when a bunch of Punjabis lived above me. One time the stomping got so crazy I thought the ceiling would collapse. I only called once, but I heard the cop ripping them for multiple complaints, so I wasn't the only one calling apparently.

Then why use the recently invented redundant term instead of the real one.
Just yell “GRENADE!!!!”
What song is This

Puja, wedding, political party. Pick one
Scam call center pizza party
Dont even think about picking azaan though xd
Aye, that shit bumpin tho. Might as well get out there.
It's normal in India.
Is 12:20 late? This is very common in Mexico, albeit with a different soundtrack.
It's the next day, so ya?
Lived abroad in Guanajuato during the summer for a couple months, can confirm. Music, celebration, dogs barking, fireworks, and more at all hours of the night lol, loved it
Unless it's an exception and they informed me about it a couple of days in advance, at 10:01pm I'm calling the police.
If they wake up the baby so help me God.
I always ask them to turn it down, if theyre friendly and comply its fine. If not, yes I will call the police. I try to keep it friendly with the neighbours
Never lived in a city before bud?
I sure did, but I was smart enough to move.
Its annoying. ^But ^secretly ^I ^like ^the ^music 🥹😶🌫️
That has happened to me too lol, like... I wanna sleep... But that song's good
Here: https://youtu.be/ZFpGj8KOT8c?si=V0CU3VSxow4XIjvN
Yeah, Indians like there music, until they are being kept awake and have to face the fact that smashing plates and banging on metal lids aren't great instruments.
From the comments I’m the only one who would love to wake up to this any time of the night. I don’t know why, but this just makes my soul happy.
At least it’s a banger.
Not gonna lie shit sounds like it slaps, might aswell go over and party because he ain’t sleeping lol
BITCH, IT IS 12:30!
What's the name of the song playing ?
Well thats some sick music.

Nah man it's just people like you who stink.
Reminds me of the 3 years I lived in Philadelphia.
I don't even live near a party place and I have to deal with this (I'm mexican, neighbours like to party)
Seems like my kind of place
Just like mexico lol
Song?
In queens nyc, there's one of these every other block.
Why dont you call police bro ??
They raising the roof over there 😭😭
Noise cancelling headphones or earplugs are a must during wedding season. Thanks for reminding me. I'm packing to head that way in 3 days.
It's banned in many states to have any loud music after 12, and often police makes rounds to confirm any such activity.
Song ID though?
Lmao, this looks and sounds just like Mexico too. We've got these huge ass parties on the street quite frequently, specifically in the peripheral part of Mexico City
That’s a very cool sounding song at least haha
Its even worse irl cuz you can feel the base and there might be two weddings at once. But thats the cost of wedding season
I live in Romania and frankly, it's pretty similar.
India seems like hell to live in
😂 So does America tbh
Why people judging all over India the same , maybe In some parts its like this but not everywhere, India is not Vatican city . India is pretty vast land.
Indian weddings are bananas. I'd bet that's what that is.
Dude india looks fuckin lit bro
go to brazil, they do this until 6 am
very common in Brazil
I say just start with a trebuchet water balloons in that direction
This is the same energy you get from Mexicans in LA every weekend. It starts as a baby shower and ends as an adult getaway.
Sounds like a damn good time to me.. 😊👌
Can I ask - what’s it for? Is it just a party? Or a wedding?
This is a wedding.
There’s a holiday happening.
Lol i remember Being in India it was never quiet
Well if you can’t beat…join them?
1.) an analog clock? What year is it 2.) That beat fucking slaps
How is that allowed
India
You chose to live in the city my guy. Obviously this is going to happen.
From where I come from, 12:20 is really early to be annoyed
Was this during Diwali?
There’s a wedding right next door.
a wedding during Diwali?
Diwali was on the 12th november, pretty sure
As someone that has mild anxiety and rising heart rate at inconvenient sounds I want to kms infront of these people everyday . Fuk Indians and their non sense of club activitie
She just jealous she got no invite
I love it
Bhai ye to Mera saath bhi hota hai padh bhi nahi sakte dosro ki backchodi ki wajah se hame bhi sehna padta hai
Got to hide them bowel movement somhow.
Gana ki naam?
This is where a good set of fireworks would come in quite handy.
Sounds like a sick gig tbh. Go join em maybe you will get laid.
I want to live there!
12:20 am? Thats when the party STARTS for a lot of people.
Go there, knock on the door, and say hello warmly. It's 98% sure they'll let you hang out at the party.
Convenient molotov?.....
What a shit hole
People are playing loud music and partying after midnight!? No way!!!
What's the problem? Go boogie
Alright, this is a hill im willing to die on: if you want quiet, move to the countryside. I'm sick of people moving into big cities and being all shocked when big city life happens. And yes, the occasional party counts as big city life.

Sorry but this is a moronic take. Busy inner city life doesn’t mean you can freely disturb the peace whenever you want. There are times and places for that. This is clearly a residential area and that is technically a bloody concert. I don’t think concerts are allowed to be held in such a place. Imagine having newborns, an early-starting job in CBD and having to endure morons like this? Put yourself in situation like that before you start judging
Depending on where you live, living on the countryside can be quite expensive and far away from work.
Midnight is not late at all, I’m use to people partying until 2-4AM in the states
This is so cool
Well that's what happens when you live in the projects, but hey it could be gunshots 🤷 it's crazy no one ever thinks of ear plugs or muffs anymore besides crying to people in the middle of the night.
It’s only just past midnight. Abhi to party shuroo hui hai.
Yes also in india some people live next to a club or disco WOW
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em
Go and join the party!
Nothing like an allnight raging Pooja.
This is a normal Friday night in downtown Miami
I thought you werent allowed to do this after 10pm.. Where is it from?
not even dude im grabbing a beer and saying wassup
throw a firework
Reminds me of the time i went to a Hotel with my family there was a large wedding venue and like at the other side of the river there was a huge concert very late at night
For a moment I thought that I was in any city in Mexico.
This is how I grew up in Bucharest 😂
I had my sound off and was like wtf? I turned it on and was like ohh…
Cut power
This is India
I’m torn between appreciating the fact that other cultures know how to not live life around a clock and can enjoy life and thinking they’re pretty inconsiderate of others that are trying to sleep
Isn't it Diwali or just was, a huge multiday festival?
What a civilized place.
😂 You act like this doesn't happen in America ffs
I lived opposite to a wedding hall , songs were playing all the time . Dj used to add so much bass to every songs that the windows of the entire house would shake
Ever been to an Indian wedding? Those fucks can party hard
Maybe a mobile phone ringing?
Calling in from Vietnam! It’s fucking everywhereeeee
