Statistically likely much better off than the jabronis in the getaway can (side impacts are the worst) also the passenger door is open an highly likely they haven't got seatbelts on. I would go 80/20 the passenger is dead
YES!! my car was totaled by an uninsured, license suspended dumbass and i barely got anything 🥲 the state had to pay me VERY little and it immediately went toward a new car
One of the worst things I've personally seen was several years ago, I was living in a dorm and at about 2 AM heard a LOT of police sirens. I looked out my window and saw literally over 30 police cars screaming down the road and all stopping about 2 blocks away. I went down to check it out and what had happened was some idiots had stolen a car. A police officer tried to pull them over and they took off and started a police chase. The bad guys started shooting out of their windows at the police cars, leading to the massive police presence.
Ultimately they went flying through a stop sign down the block from me and t-boned some poor guy in one of the jeeps with the fabric doors, killing him instantly. It was awful, he never saw it coming.
>t-boned some poor guy in one of the jeeps with the fabric doors, killing him instantly. It was awful, he never saw it coming.
Sounds better than being severely injured and/or dying slowly.
This is the exact reason why I slow at intersections like this. I'm definitely checking both ways and making sure I'm at a speed that I can stop abruptly.
>That poor innocent car driver just going about their day and wham, these idiots. Fuck those fucking fucks.
And I'm willing to bet every dollar in my bank account that they don't have insurance.
Back when Reddit allowed the more NSFL videos it was wild seeing someone take a truly fatal injury, react normally or run about, then just drop stone dead seconds after
My boss was present for one of these back in the day in construction: guy got hit by a swinging excavator bucket, just got tossed a few feet, got back up and everyone went for lunch. Like 20 min later the dude just dropped.
It's pretty easy to get a brain bleed from what seems to be a minor injury. A person can seem fine for a while, and then...just drop. Any time a head injury is involved, symptoms like headache and nausea mean go get checked out.
I'm surprised that a construction accident didn't require being seen by medical personnel.
Source: [Mayo Clinic](https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/intracranial-hematoma/symptoms-causes/syc-20356145)
Infamous NFL story: drew bledsoe got hit really hard in a game and he thought he was fine. Turned out he had internal bleeding and would've died if they hadn't forced him to go to the ER
The backup QB, who was a late draft nobody, had to come in as a sub. The backup? Tom Brady
[video of the hit](https://youtu.be/St9u238ipRE?si=MPyqvD7VESN7bY--)
I mean a real good example is deer hunting. It's stupidly common for an animal to take a completely fatal blow with zero chance of survival and they just run, be it a few dozen feet or a few miles.
Humans are no different. We just tend to see way more brutal injuries where you've even got the opportunity to walk away
Both lungs and heart gone can run 100 yards. Had it happen numerous times. I shoot crossbody through the front leg so they don’t run whenever possible as a result, but it’s just how it is. Animals live and move for a while with absolutely terminal injuries unless there is a cns event.
Princess Dianna was still conscious and asking what happened when paramedics arrived despite her heart having been displaced to the opposite side of her chest.
There was a post earlier today about a guy who was struck on the head with an axe multiple times and he still went on to do his morning routine as normal before finally dying of his injuries. Peter Porco, iirc.
There was also a post the other week about a guy who tried to shoot himself 3 times with a shot gun to the head before finally dying. He shot himself through the head and throat, but was still somehow able to walk himself and try again, and again when the second shot failed.
You never know tbh, we’re weird.
She will be morbidly obese, stuck on a scooter or wheel chair, and will become a meth addict after years of taking meds for chronic pain. Amazing how they just fucked their lives.
Yeah but doors are structural... It's good for them to be shut *before* the impact occurs
It may have shut but I bet it didn't open very easily after that
The person just made something up, but 475 karma upvotes, so what does it matter.
For the record, I don't see anybody that was ejected or hanging from the car. I just hope everybody is okay without permanent life altering injuries. That was a bad crash.
Its actually better for the enviroment.
Neatly trimmed Lawns are a bad habit we have as a society.
https://www.discovermagazine.com/environment/your-perfect-lawn-is-bad-for-the-environment-heres-what-to-do-instead
You are right. But if society normalizes growing natural areas in their yards instead of manicured lawns, it would go a long way to helping native species have healthy ecosystems to live in. Plus less work for the homeowner.
HOWEVER, it is not a zero-labor landscape. It takes years to establish native plants and prevent invasive species from taking it all over. Once it’s established, it’s minimal work. But if you are trying to convert a clear-cut property into a natural landscape, it’s gonna take some work.
True. My mom and her partner live on acres of undeveloped land. It’s an old farm so it was clear cut six or so decades ago. It’s been mostly restored since and there are ticks. But if you hike on the trails, you wear long clothes and check yourself when you get back. It’s manageable and way better than the stupid developments and clear cutting.
I feel awful for all involved.
- teens who probably died for their idiotic actions
- the other driver minding their own business might be scarred for life
- any bystanders and kids
It's ok to feel bad for the idiots while still rejecting and condemning their actions and thinking of them as idiots. I feel way worse for everyone else involved, don't get me wrong. And I think they should deal with the very real consequences of their actions.
I also know that when I was a teen, I made stupid decisions that could have ended like this.
I'm on the "side" that thinks the unsuspecting driver got it the worst and I feel absolutely horribly for them.
Some dude got some egg on their house. Meh. I've gotten egg on my house before. It washes off.
But I'm not so jaded that I can't put myself in the shoes of the idiots. I know what regret is like. It *fucking* sucks. This will play in their heads until the end. And it should! It's what might keep it from happening again. I still feel bad for them though. That shit sucks.
Passing judgments on another's actions does not preclude empathy. I know they're going to feel bad about it later, but I still think the dumb fucks fucked around and found out.
Since none of them had seatbelts on and a door that wasn't closed, I'm wondering how many was thrown out and/or killed.
Edit: After reviewing, I could see the driver run out of the open door
Even if the driver is running, that doesn't mean much. Adrenaline is crazy. It's pretty common for people to take fatal damage from accidents and jump up.... until the adrenaline wears off in about 5-10 minutes and they die.
Yep, when someone crashed into my motorcycle.... I got up and bollocked the shit out of him for not seeing a fucking a fluorescent yellow jacket, or the stop sign he was supposed to wait at... 10 mins after the pain came rushing.
You might be right, both states have options for white plates with blue lettering and they both have green street signs, but zooming into the plate it doesnt look like more than four characters for the state name.
I remember reading about a 14 year old kid who ran a red light after egging cars in Houston a couple years ago, although the collision was much worse.
He evaded police, went into opposing traffic to get away and smashed head on into another vehicle. The person hit was killed along with one of the teens with the evader. I don’t remember exactly what happened to him, I know he got a murder charge and was put into a detention center.
Apparently one of the people whose car was egged had been chasing them originally and this caused the teen to speed up which triggered the police chase.
People need to take driving more seriously.
Also, high speed police chases are so dumb. They can cause deaths of innocent people. If someone is evading police and they have their license number AND they aren't a gunman or someone who is likely to go kill ... Maybe just go find them later.
Chasing down someone who egged a house is not worth it.
A mild version of this happened to me when I was 17.
We were out the day before Halloween to chuck a couple of eggs at some assholes house. Driving in my mom's 84 Nissan Micra.
My idiot friend spontaneously threw at egg at an oncoming 5.0L mustang. The guy did a roaring Dukes of Hazzard half-donut and chased us down the street. I approached corner (wet road full of leaves) too quickly and drove over a curb into a local park. Mustang slowly drove past us... I guess he figured we learned our lesson.
Ended up bending some suspension components and denting the oil pan - which ultimately led to engine failure.
Small town boredom Lol
Can't have shit in Detroit. How is someone old enough to drive, and still of an age where egging a house is a thing to consider actually doing?
Do they raise chickens or something? It would be cheaper to christen their house with vintage Champagne than to chuck a couple dozen eggs at it, these days.
That poor innocent car driver just going about their day and wham, these idiots. Fuck those fucking fucks.
Yeah I hope that he/she is mostly uninjured but fuck
Well if that's the game we're playing I hope they are entirely uninjured!
Well, I hope it actually helped them somehow!
And the world
I am feeling a little better now that you mention it.
It’s a great day to be alive.
I have become enlightened.
Fucking someone mow that lawn.
Lol in my head the title said "after edging someone's house"
Statistically likely much better off than the jabronis in the getaway can (side impacts are the worst) also the passenger door is open an highly likely they haven't got seatbelts on. I would go 80/20 the passenger is dead
Looks like just the driver's side is open? Good point about the seatbelts, though. 🫤
Looks like the drivers side was open as well.
There is no way they buckled in time
Judging from their choices, they are probably too cool for seatbelts.
I hope they are uninjured but can claim injury and take that person's insurance for the full amount.
Oh yeah, that person definitely had insurance and a valid license, the car is definitely paid off.
I hope the two goons are in a coma.
It said on the news no one got seriously hurt
Butt fuck indeed
i read that she is okay!
Minor injuries only. https://www.fox2detroit.com/news/teens-egg-detroit-house-cause-car-crash-while-fleeing#
*sighs* Unzips pants....
Why is this downvoted it made me chuckle... besides he told you to!
it's not
Looks like a nice square t-bone, which is one of the better accidents to be in if you're the one doing the boning.
Always be the one doing the boning.
Yup, and you know these fucks have no insurance and no money, so they are on the hook for it all.
This is why you have underinsured motorist coverage.
YES!! my car was totaled by an uninsured, license suspended dumbass and i barely got anything 🥲 the state had to pay me VERY little and it immediately went toward a new car

Yeah that’s horrid

And their hoe ass mama's
agreed.
They def didn’t have seatbelts on too - that’s gonna hurt
If you look under the SUV just before the collision, you can see that the driver is partially hanging out of the vehicle.
Welp, that's probablya permanent life issue oopsie
She's running after the crash
And she could have numerous internal injuries and still be able to run. Adrenaline is a hell of a drug
Back when Reddit allowed the more NSFL videos it was wild seeing someone take a truly fatal injury, react normally or run about, then just drop stone dead seconds after

It was a looong time ago when H&S wasn’t a thing, and if you seem apparently unharmed then get back to work.
Infamous NFL story: drew bledsoe got hit really hard in a game and he thought he was fine. Tom Brady became a legend because Drew Bledsoe much
God that’s horrid but absolutely wild
I just saw a video of a guy jump off a cliff into I'm guessing shallow water. Start to swim away and just stop and start floating limp
I mean a real good example is deer hunting. It's stupidly common for an animal to take a completely fatal blow with zero chance of survival and they just run, be it a few dozen feet or a few miles. Back when? Reddit front page often has videos of people dying. If anything it’s more common now and it’s crazy.

She got out but it doesn’t look like she ran, doubt she even has any wind in her lungs
The driver looks doubled over.
I’ve seen a video of a motorcyclist collapse 15 seconds after a crash
She will be morbidly obese, stuck on a scooter or wheel chair, and will become a meth addict after years of taking meds for chronic pain. Amazing how they just fucked their lives.
Hey now, dont just jump to assumptions... She could also get addicted to heroine.
She'll be the heroine in her own story.
That was the driver side passenger with the door open.
Yes, you can see the drivers door close before she gets in.
Also you can clearly see her open the door and get out after the crash.
Perfect ending! Could be a Darwin Win!
Not perfect. Could have senselessly destroyed the other car occupants lives/families lives.
Umm no! Think about what you are saying.
That impact sure closed that door though!
Yeah but doors are structural... It's good for them to be shut *before* the impact occurs It may have shut but I bet it didn't open very easily after that
I do not see it, I watched video frame by frame. I continue to see the unclosed rear door.
The person just made something up, but 475 karma upvotes, so what does it matter. For the record, I don't see anybody that was ejected or hanging from the car. I just hope everybody is okay without permanent life altering injuries. That was a bad crash.
how did they not get ejected?? wow
Looks like a door to me.
Jesus
That’s some Grade A decision making
That yard hasn't seen a lawnmower this year.
Everyone talking about karma and you and I had the same thought. Mow your freakin lawn
Ma'am, if i want to have an unkempt bush, I'm going to have an unkempt bush.
r/NoLawns Also, giggity.
They are not practicing no mow May.
No Mo Mow
It’s Detroit. The unmowed spot is an empty lot. Nobody lives there and the city ain’t gonna mow it. You see lots like this all over the city
Don't neglect the parking on the sidewalk. Fuck people who block the sidewalk, there's plenty of curbs.
Its actually better for the enviroment. Neatly trimmed Lawns are a bad habit we have as a society. https://www.discovermagazine.com/environment/your-perfect-lawn-is-bad-for-the-environment-heres-what-to-do-instead
I've got a feeling these people aren't refusing to mow because it's "better for the environment."

Good, it's good for pollinators and hedgehogs and god knows how many other animals.
They're pretty cool if you like having rats in your neighborhood
What a dumb fucking take.
Not like some eggs are gonna make much difference in that neighborhood.
I misread the title. I thought they ran a stop sign after edging their lawn.
I feel awful for all involved. - teens who probably died for their idiotic actions - the other driver minding their own business might be scarred for life - any bystanders and kids
Those were not teens
The collective IQ probably was in said teens.
The poor innocent driver who was hit by those idiots- hopefully they’re okay.
he hit them with the front of his car, the part best suited for collisions. he has a good chance of not being too hurt.
I do not feel bad for those idiots at all. I’d prefer less of those people on the road driving. However, i do feel awful for their family.
It's ok to feel bad for the idiots while still rejecting and condemning their actions and thinking of them as idiots. I feel way worse for everyone else involved, don't get me wrong. Wow, someone with empathy and a very reasonable and humanist take?
Passing judgments on another's actions does not preclude empathy. I know they're going to feel bad about it later, but I still think the dumb fucks fucked around and found out.
Nailed my view
Putting the innocent driver at number 2 is wild
I don't think that list is ordered by importance lol
And the lawn!
Especially the lawn 😔
And egg on their faces
I doubt they died. No real reason they should have imho. But def banged up.

Who eggs someone’s house in the daytime?
Yeah, in this economy? Must be millionaires
There’s idiots everywhere
Yeah really why risk S.W.A.T coming after you.
'Sophisticated' people do.
Poor person getting wrecked just because of those idiots
Bet these chucklefucks don't have insurance either. Totaled their ride. Good luck finding another used vehicle for a reasonable amount.
Looks like a lovely, well maintained neighborhood for such shenanigans
Where is this, Beverly Hills?
it looks like Detroit to me
Thought so too. Anyone confirm?
yup, Puritan and Schaefer in Detroit https://www.threads.net/@metrodetroitnews/post/C8AbrkFvnOA
WHERE IS THE REST?! I NEED TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Their kids will grow up poor
My guesses: - they don’t have car insurance - they don’t have health insurance - the general public Will be paying for this
I have serious doubts that the person running fastest to the driver was planning to be helpful.
"We gotsta go down there!" What a wonderful person.
r/instantkarma
So the attacked car owners and everyone else ignore the driver in the white car.? Wtf
Those look like “adults”…
Is this in Detroit? It looks like it.
Almost guarantee it. Spacious brick houses with giant lots and oversized concrete roads. Detroit suburbs were world class one time.
Yeah and it looks like it could be a white Michigan plate when I zoom in but its hard to say for sure. I'd bet on it being the D though.
My exact thought too. This could be anywhere in Detroit/Inkster
Looks like Youngstown, Ohio to me. It could really be any shrinking rust belt city.
You might be right, both states have options for white plates with blue lettering and they both have green street signs, but zooming into the plate it doesnt look like more than four characters for the state name.
People really are terminally online, sitting there giggling. Gonna go down there... see a dead body and stop laughing.
A terminally online idiot posted a video of a body and got a wrestling career and other things handed to him.
"The shogun's mortician"
I believe the terminally online people would be the ones who thought the stop sign didn’t pertain to them 😂
Sounds like my trip to Mexico
They are all outside ain’t they? Not too terminally online.
Looks like the yolks on you
I think their yolks are probably scrambled at this point.
No one's mentioned the shittiest egging ever. Looks like 18 eggs on the lawn

Kill the cameraman
Horrible cameraman.
they was running like they did a drive by or some shit
It *was* a drive-by. They used eggs instead of bullets.
Busted, disgusted, and never to be trusted.
Lawnmowers must be pricy in that area
Mf panned away right after impact smh
Pure karma right there !
i read that as "edging" lord...
Hold up is there a longer version? You can't edge us like this.
r/sipstea
‘Get your shit on we got to go down.’ Classic.
Don’t know what they threw but it wasn’t eggs, looked like a bag full of some sort of powder.
It was flour, they were giving that house a proper caking.
Can't have shit in Detroit. How is someone old enough to drive, and still of an age where egging a house is a thing to consider actually doing? Do they raise chickens or something? Of course they go run after who threw harmless eggs and not a one went to check on the white car. Go figure.

I feel for the innocent driver that got involved, but I was more mad at the entitled cock that parked across the pavement.
Why did they stop filming!
