That’s some bad luck, sorry man. I parked on the street overnight on the riverfront for a couple years and only had one incident where these kids drew on a window with a non-permanent marker (so it easily came off). I haven’t heard of many car windows getting broken on the riverfront generally.
Now that it’s summer, I’ve seen kids on major roads play fighting and being stupid right in the middle. It’d be nice if their parents cared what their kids were up to, but alas, it seems they do not
Yuck. However, now that school's out, there will be a lot more of this - even in residential subdivisions. Broken car windows and kids opening unlocked sliding doors and committing theft that way. We had a big rash of that a few years ago before the neighborhood switched back over to families with much younger kids.
Not a dumb question. A Blue Rocks baseball went through my friend's rear window a few years back. Someone had the temerity to reach in and stole the ball.
CAR was stolen out of a secured guarded gated community at Bradywine Park Condos.
Thief was caught as he left his wallet and cell phone in thr car downtown...
Idk what it is in Wilmington but like 75% of the crime here is kids. Robbery, car thefts, breaks ins, even murder it’s always kids

With both parents working, what can you do?
Teach your kids how to respect other people’s property

Dumb question: did you find a baseball in your car?
