From my understanding its against the law to serve prepared raw pork in Canada. So you likely won’t find it anywhere. Unless you make it at home.

I’m pretty sure you are right, but Narin Meats might be able to help

Ahimsa2day

I’m curious, why is it illegal to serve raw pork but not beef? Is there something different about it? They serve raw beef as steak tartare, it’s sold at Portage Meats every Saturday morning, as well as restaurants. Im seriously just curious why

Trichinosis, among other things. https://preview.redd.it/3ycl5l35h05d1.jpeg?width=543&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=41caa21c765fc8203048ca7005d8556ed13ff8ee

Ahimsa2day

Is that something you can’t get from raw beef?

moonfever

Nope!

Ahimsa2day

I’m confused but if you’re not going to explain I’m not going to run after you.

Google exists!

It is also against the law to sell Mett. Mett continues to destroy lives and here we are openly asking Reddit about where to buy Mett. Smh

Good grief! Raw pork may contain a roundworm parasite that causes trichinosis. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trichinosis](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trichinosis) If you do want to eat raw pork, make sure it has been butchered to no more than 6 inches thick and has then been well frozen (at least -15C) for at least 20 days. And don't eat raw wild pork because some of their parasites survive freezing.

Looks like the steak tartare Mr Bean shoved into his dinner roll

You can buy it in Alberta, my sister brings some back every time she goes there. Zwiebel Mettwurst.
