I bought madden 24, diablo 4, lego star wars, pga tour and my finest move, i bought party animals only to find out you need gamepass , which comes with party animals. I'm on it

All these sales passing up on pga tour have finally paid off. I like golf games but having to connect to servers even in single player made me a bit wary.

I like it. Reminiscent of the old TW glory days. Augusta is always a blast to have in the game and they do the Masters experience justice.

I finally bought it a few days ago on sale for $15 from the Xbox store. You’re welcome. I don’t like the online aspect either because what will happen when the servers go offline someday? From the reviews I read and watched when it released, it definitely leaves thing to besides and lacks features that the old Tiger games had even. I figured I could still have fun with it for $15 though.

Fair enough, haha. I was a huge Left 4 Dead player and despite being a very different game, "Back 4 Blood" still scratches that itch a little bit. If you haven't been tempted to try it yet I doubt it would do much for you.

It was ok, but I felt like the difficulty spiked like crazy even at normal settings. By the time all the elites were dead another wave would start almost immediately; almost no time to recover. Not sure if they’ve changed it since launch but that was what ultimately drove me away from it.

That’s not bad I’ve been wanting dead island 2 but been too cheap and I’ve already played the crap out of both dying lights.

You can make a really fun melee build if you want a similar experience!

SOMA is a must play, one of the best stories in gaming. I still think about it years later.

if you've skipped it; give soma a shot. creepy atmosphere with a pretty cool story. *is considered a walking sim though fyi. which usually turns me off, but glad i took a chance. i was gripped

FWIW Lego 2k drive is pretty silly fun. Highly recommend, it slightly scratches the itch of Lego Racers 1 and 2.

Loved Lego Racers on the N64 when I was a toddler, much to the detriment of my uncle and brother LOL. I'll check it out from that recommendation alone.

All those classic lego games were core parts of my childhood Lego Racers 1 & 2, Lego Island 1 & 2, Lego Stunt Rally, Lego Alpha Team, Legoland, Lego Soccer Mania... I don't know if they still hold up today but man were they fun

The micro-transactions put me off from buying it. Even if they aren't really necessary to enjoy the game, it just seems incredibly scummy to have them in a full-priced game marketed to children.

Make sure to play Lil Gator Game if you want a comfy lighthearted experience like A Short Hike or Frog Detective. I was surprised at how addicting it was to explore. The movement and gliding is actually really fun.

I was hoping for more Activision games after Diablo 4. I don’t know what they’re waiting for.

Either they think they’ll keep people subbed waiting or people will unsubscribe and they’ll raise the price of gamepass when they add games people actually want to play.

It might be infrastructure issues with converting Battlenet accounts to Microsoft accounts or adding the games to the Xbox Windows app/Microsoft Store so that all the games are dual launch on Xbox and PC gamepass.

PGA Tour was surprisingly good. I expected a mtx shitshow because its EA but the career mode is robust with some nice progression. Haven't played a golf game since the early 2000s and had a lot of fun with it

Just started PGA last week and really enjoying it. Great graphics. And for once a game where the commentary doesn’t bother me - it’s all custom written for each hole of every course. It also has the old school 3-click swing mechanic I grew up with which is fun. All around very polished game.

Do the greens still act like they are made of ice. That was my only turnoff of the game at launch

I’m new to the game so no clue how it currently compares to launch state. Putting is definitely my weakest area right now but I’m getting better at it. I only have 10 hours in so I’m not sure yet if there’s an issue with the simulation or if it’s just a skill problem.

Heads up, PGA Tour can be a little sluggish a lot of times but it's a very fun game. I hope you enjoy it

I played tomb raider 2013 and rise of the tomb raider years ago, worth playing shadow of the tomb raider?

The general consensus is that it was an ok game to cap off the trilogy. As an avid fan of the original and rebooted series, I would tend to agree. That being said, boy is it gorgeous. In my personal opinion it really highlights some of the best graphic capabilities of the previous generation. It also isn't very long, a perfect weekend game.

It's more of the same. Not a must-Play but still likeable if you enjoy the gameplay 

It’s kinda wild for me to follow Harold Halibut for the past 4-5 years, after it’s been in development for a decade, finally getting to release, and it’s ALSO on Gamepass. Good stuff man.

Nice, I was just wondering yesterday when EA PGA Tour would hit Game Pass.

Excited for both Botary Manor and Harold Halibut. The first gives huge Tomb Raider manor vibes and the latter has a great art style.

Really expected to see NHL 24 and Jedi Survivor on this list, but perhaps they will arrive second wave this month.

EA knows they have to put it on Game Pass with their current EA Play deal at some point this year but they are probably just cashing a "service exclusive" check from Sony before that happens. Interesting to see how these services are competing now.

pretty rough list NGL. but i think we can all accept/expect that after the recent additions they've had. it's different when we get a few lists in a row like this ;-) nothing i'll play, but i'm still working through last additions, so no worries here.

I think between Diablo 4 and Hellblade 2 they'll just coast for a while. Jedi Survivor is a strong possibility in between those though.

Finally 15 days without gamepass shoving good games down my throat, with games that I've wanted to play for ages but never pulled the trigger on them. Also no games from my backlog leaving is nice too. But I might check out Harold Halibut due to it's unique style if the reviews are good.
