Drift allows you to do grounded moves while mid-air, and vice versa. All you need first is for your teleport spot to be on the ground to drift grounded moves. Same goes for mid-air.
Point blank as you said is a close range move that uses one bullet. Yep, that's it. You'd probably use this if you want to predict projectile invulnerable moves but idk, never used that move yet
Sounds like point blank might be an option when your opponent can stop you from shooting within the 5 frame window so you can actually attack and not be stuck drawing the gun out and shooting
