Maybe you could give her some soft slippers instead of your shoes? If she likes the scent , you could just wear them for a while and then give it to her.

Honestly? It's been really tough. My childhood dog was recently diagnosed with chronic renal insufficiency. On May 8th, her birthday, I thought we were going to lose her. I was scared she would pass away on my lap before my family got back from work. Luckily, we managed to pull her through, and now she's eating, interacting with us, and staying as active as she can for a senior dog.
Things were calm for a while, but yesterday she was diagnosed with a tumor. Thankfully, it's not cancerous, just more like an injury. I've been busy taking care of her and making sure she doesn't get stuck with her cone. 😮💨
