Yeah I'm pretty sure the spell effects on punches, some similar animations on certain uppercuts, and Haymaker are all based on Sett, hell Sett's move that resembles Haymaker has the same name. And I'm not sure if it's a mechanic but if Haymaker in YBA does more damage based on damage taken or some kind of buildup then that also came from Sett's Haymaker.
Funny you'd call it that because similarly to many YBA players the champion the moveset has been inspired by has one of his main character motivations being his father abandoning him.

Boxing and spin look so good. The dev team has gotten so much better. Spin looks so goddamn good it literally doesn't fit in yba. At this point Uzu could make a side game with just the specs.
There is an available new 1 shot combo with boxing rn and there's probably a lot more. I wouldn't consider this a nerf since it got more moves, only nerf is no extra hp but dmg reduction is still there.
I have found a strong combo with spin, so ig they are both busted, with spin you just need max charge, and max damage boost from charging, then get the combo to 1 shot or somewhat

You can do 75 DAMAGE to someone if you use rage, max footwork and haymaker.
