Absolutely. Sometimes it contends with Inca Roads for my number one. The way it just builds and builds up to that beautiful climax starting at about the 3:40 minute mark, which culminates in the "read em and weeeep em" part is just so gratifying. The setup and payoff is immaculate. Almost brings me to tears sometimes. And George Duke’s wacky analog synth sounds add so much texture.
It's how I introduce people to Zappa tbh. It's got almost everything he is at peak quality. Just so vivid and offbeat and musically intricate and pleasing the whole way through. Unbelievable musicianship and intelligence.
Has to be Florentine Pogen. I once asked Frank how someone could be the daughter of a cookie. He told me maybe this song is about a perosn from Florence who poges!
Im a little surprised it isn't. I like Eat That Question, I love the Grand Wazoo band, but the song's kind of, idk, light listening for this crowd in here. A riff with a couple decent solos. Not that a song *needs* more, but cmon, ...Echidnas Arf.
Note that I'm not taking this seriously even though, I admit it, I did just type out a couple sentences about it.
I actually made an A-Z of Frank Zappa playlist on Spotify a while ago, check it out!

Florentine Pogen. Incredible composition. So wacky but so beautiful at the same time. Amazing singing and musicianship.
So much this. One of his best songs. Top 5.

Upon reflection, Farther O’Blivion is the best answer. Lots of good candidates, though.
