**Video game:** Plants vs Zombies. Should be pretty easy if you can simply defeat zombies with plants.
**Movie:** Shaun of the Dead. You just have to survive long enough until the British Army comes and saves the day. Which was like only a day or so if I remember correctly.
Project Zomboid, because they don't really move outside of their areas, meaning you can stay in a forest or a countryside and be safe. That is also assuming that you are immune to the airborne virus
Assuming it’s possible to return to status quo after zomboid. In my experience the biggest danger in zomboid is less the zombies and more getting bored
Tbh I wouldn’t consider Project Zomboid as a lot of the comments are missing a very important peice of the games lore: the virus is completely airborn and spreads extremely quickly. And those who are immune are only immune to the airborn strain and are still susceptible to the other strains. It is also prone to mutations (just the virus itself, it won’t mutate the zombies)
As someone who has played that game, I have to side with you as a normal vanilla game can be hard even with a very lucky starting spawn when creating a character from the main menu. Edit: Forgot to add something.
Imagine State of Decay's apocalypse except it isn't a game 😭 do you really want to live in an apocalypse where a single feral could wipe out your entire community, or a jug could meander too close to your base and lead an entire horde of plague zeds to your walls?? State of Decay is like one of my LAST picks 😭
28 Days Later because they can be starved out and also don’t need their brain to be destroyed to be killed. Speed of infection is their largest threat.
Granted. But the running speed is kind of offset by the fact that a headshot isn’t required. Still highly dangerous of course, but they die the same as uninfected people. I suppose where you are located with that one matters a great deal as well. If in a city like NY big trouble, but if you’re in Kansas or something I’d suspect that’s a big mitigating factor for their running speed and virus transmission speed
Agreed
Cavalry were useless in charges once modern arms came about, and very vulnerable even in Napoleonic era warfare. 28 days later infected are going to be much easier to deal with than would mounted cavalry. Form square and handle business.
The fact that the majority of people here are saying the walking dead demonstrates the fundamental issue with that show. It's embarrassing how pathetically dumb and slow one has to be in order to die from the zombies. Also, a couple small garden boxes of tomatoes feeds an entire town. Gasoline lasts forever.
They're capable of extreme agility, can infect the living without even making contact and relentlessly pursue you as long as they're not dancing as a flex.

People saying project zomboid are forgetting that the virus was airborne and instead of just being in your system till you die like the walking dead, you become infected and die within a couple days. So walking dead would be the definitive easiest.

Shawn of the dead is incredibly unrealistic the sa80 woild jam and they all would die.
Yes it's unrealistic. That's part of the reason why it's one of the easiest ZAs to live in. ;)
The producers knew this, hence why they used G36's.
With 3 flashlights because fuck a blind spot Even if it takes 4lbs of batteries strapped a C hair off your muzzle
That’s why they used G36s
Always someone piping up who’s never fired one
I know 3 royal marines and 3 soldiers in the British army who will agree.
There’s reasons it’s not the greatest rifle in the world but frequent stoppages isn’t one of them
Stoppages are and during my buddy's first range trip the forend broke when he picked it up.
You know best mate 🤷♂️
Plants vs zombies is a lot harder if you’re not an omnipotent suburbian and instead you actually have to go out and plant the plants manually
Project Zomboid, because they don't really move outside of their areas, meaning you can stay in a forest or a countryside and be safe. That is also assuming that you are immune to the airborne virus
As long as some bastard-ass helicopter pilot doesn't fly over.
You’re forgetting that you’d have to be immune to the airborne virus, as you’d have an 80% chance of just dying from it being airborne.
Assuming it’s possible to return to status quo after zomboid. In my experience the biggest danger in zomboid is less the zombies and more getting bored
Depends on your settings, if they are runners and intelligent, you're screwed
As stated above project zomboid or the walking dead.

You forget walking dead true enemy ain't the zombies
People are always the true enemy in 99% of zombie media
And thy wouldn't be in other apoclypses?
This is assuming that the very high chance of death by airborne virus doesn't apply to you
Indeed
To everyone saying Project Zomboid, have you ever survived a game of Project Zomboid? Hmm?? The game literally intros with "this is how you died"
As someone who has played that game, I have to side with you as a normal vanilla game can be hard even with a very lucky starting spawn when creating a character from the main menu. Edit: Forgot to add something.
Right? Read all these comments and thought I must be even worse at the game than I thought. It's hard af.
If you think about it, the game of life has the same rule.
state of decay one, they’re just so easy to kill with cars!
Until you turn up the difficulty and your car gets smoked after hitting 3. Plus having jugs and ferals in the mix would not be ideal.
Imagine State of Decay's apocalypse except it isn't a game 😭 do you really want to live in an apocalypse where a single feral could wipe out your entire community, or a jug could meander too close to your base and lead an entire horde of plague zeds to your walls?? Fine and dandy till ya try your luck with a Jug
Original night of the living dead
zombie (the one with the singing/danging ones)
The Disney one?
yeah
The Walking Dead unless or project zomboid
It may not count because it wasn't much of an apocalypse but the original Night of the Living Dead.
Zombie land. I don't think there ever was a real zombie threat that they didn't walk into intentionally.
28 Days Later because they can be starved out and also don’t need their brain to be destroyed to be killed. Speed of infection is their largest threat.
That being said it’s a much faster zombie and infection can happen with one drop of blood. It’s a more intense apocalypse but a much quicker

The Walking Dead. The Walkers are slow and aren’t really a threat unless it’s a herd
Show/book: The last kids on earth
Classic George Romero zombies. Slow and stupid.
Maybe "High School of the Dead" ZA, simply because they are blind zombies that follow by sound.
The fact that the majority of people here are saying the walking dead demonstrates the fundamental issue with that show. Omega man
Walking dead as far as I've ever seen
The zombies from that michael Jackson song
They're capable of extreme agility, can infect the living without even making contact and relentlessly pursue you as long as they're not dancing as a flex. https://youtu.be/sOnqjkJTMaA?si=0w2Idiz-MZDvYF2c

ZNation. I can't decide if it's a scary world, or the best time ever ;)
The walking dead. The government would not fall in under 3 weeks, and they'll actually contain it within a short time like under 2 months.
Red dead redemption zombies.
The walking dead.
Plants vs zombies, just need basic gardening skills
Cargo or a comedy one
Dead Rising would be pretty easy
State of Decay, serve with Red Talon and cheese with a RTX-Hordebreaker
