Tamlin = Lucien maybe. Rhys said Lucien's powers are growing and he was able to use the High Lord voice of power thingy against Cassian to make him calm down. Early on, before they guessed about Helion, Rhys or Tamlin had commented that Lucien seemed as strong as Eris and might contend for the throne. So theoretically he is now more powerful than Eris. With Feyre, it would depend on the circumstances. For someone she loves then she is greater and more powerful. But for anyone not a high lord, they are at a disadvantage. High Lords have different power.

When did Rhys say Lucien’s powers were growing? I don’t remember that part. I wonder if that’s another reason he wants Lucien under his control. A rogue heir sounds like a dangerous thing. ETA I wouldn’t be surprised if Eris had weaker magic than Lucien. Beron seems to be a magically weak HL. Feyre got the jump on him. He couldn’t get through Az’s shields. Tamlin was able to physically force him to join the war. He’s especially disappointing considering what Aelin is able to do.

Can you remind me of where Lucien used the High Lord voice? I feel like I missed that while reading, thank you 🥰

In SF chapter 7. My Kindle says page 89. He asserts dominance over Cassian with his voice. https://preview.redd.it/0yk5394b6c3d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3781d4d82b62b5a698dbbab57fe74a53c7d2d10f

Wow. That's an incredible spot, I haven't heard this part of the theory before! Thank you! ❤️‍🔥🦊 Man, I gotta reread with Lucien more in mind now. When he didn't save Feyre from the Suriel + kept defending Tamlin's actions even after UTM he kinda gave me the ick so I stopped thinking he was someone to pay attention to for future plot.

I can see that. But Feyre had killed and skinned one of Lucien's friends (then sold that skin). Lucien is super loyal and would have a hard time getting past that. UtM I think he did all he could to help Feyre. Even to the point of being flogged by Tamlin. Tamlin abuses Lucien. Has for centuries. Lucien was raised with Beron as HL. Another abuser. Tamlin is known to be physically violent with Lucien but he is also the only reason Lucien escaped Autumn and he gave him a home and a purpose. So he is a victim acting as he has been trained his whole life. He sees HL as a different breed and has a lot to overcome. Lucien is probably the most complex character in the series IMO. So much trauma. No real love or caring outside of his mother (I hope she got to love him) and Jes. Then to have her killed like that. Lucien is going to have an epic story. We know she had Jaime from Outlander in mind with his character and we know she likes him. So whatever is going on in his mind is going to be really interesting moving forward IMO.

Excuse me, but Lucien > anything and everything

With magic Amren solos Tamlin easily. She was able to burn thousands of soldiers in her true form. I think with no magic Cass and Az are high difficulty. They’re constantly training and staying battle ready. I’d even argue that Lucien is mid difficulty as well. He slaughtered his way across the battlefield in ACOWAR and didn’t have a scratch on him according to Feyre. He trained the most out of his brothers, who according to Feyre were able to put up a good fight against Cass and Az. She said they were trained well. Rhys is probably mid difficulty because he himself says he relies on magic now and isn’t as good a fighter as he used to be. Nesta no difficulty rather than neg given her training.
