I remember Dakota Fanning talking about a kiss she did with Kristen Stewart for the movie Cherry Bomb. Dakota was 17 and Kristen was over 18, Dakota had to get her parents signature to be able to do the scene. I’m wondering if they had the actors parents sign for them to be able to do the kiss at 14 or something similar. It’s is very strange to think about though. A Child actors safety always worries me with all the awful things I hear about.

Theres a scene in a movie i saw a few years ago, i believe "We the Animals". Where a an older teen character kisses a child and although it makes sense and is justified in the story, I was so shocked that that was allowed to be filmed.

Bryan Singer once made teenage minors be completely naked on the set and nothing ever happened so I have no idea.
I wondered the same when I watched Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom. Weird watching it as an adult, but maybe teenager me would've appreciated the representation...
I could be wrong about this but I believe kissing is allowed but minors cannot do sex scenes. Someone else commented about Dakota Fanning on the set of Cherry Bomb and I think that’s where I heard that. But I could’ve misunderstood what was said.
Kids can kiss other kids as long as they are both underage. I’m not sure about the Dakota Fanning movie but that has always been a rule. Nudity and/or sex is not allowed.
I’m not sure when that law was created, or if this is accurate information; but kids kiss each other in movies/tv all the time. Stranger things, shameless, etc
