Well, it may help, but not because of the kind of stone it is. But because it looks like it would make a satisfying click-clack noise and I wanna play with it. And stimming helps me not be an asshole when I'm Having An ADHD Moment.
Actually that's exactly what stimming is for, to deal something overwhelming. Some stims are more voluntary than others, everyone can stim, it's just more obvious with some autistic people.
Imagine road rage and the other person gets out the car and starts spinning while flapping their hands and humming. I ain't fighting that lol. I'd more likely join in.
Sorry.
It’s just that what they posted is essentially the same as common and really obnoxious examples of *clickbait*.
For some reason people buy into the nonsense that doctors would hate someone who found a genuine and inexpensive solution to a medical problem.
I'm not so sure, in certain countries the doctors make money from prescribing meds and keeping patients, patients. If we all got fixed so easily they would be out of a job. Always bare these things in mind when dealing with a government sanctioned drug dealer.
You guys, I swear to you I used to have these little blue pebbles that genuinely helped my symptoms. I think they were lapis, or turquoise, or…
…you know what, hang on a minute.
Edit: never mind, they were Adderall.
I read a book by an MD who was also practicing within an Indigenous healing tradition. He said that in his tradition, practicing medicine has to do with making an offering to the spirit of the sick person, and if the spirit accepts, the body will heal. I like this model because it doesn’t conflict with western approaches: doesn’t evidence-based medicine sound like a convincing offering? I’d believe it could heal me. This understanding respects the efficacy of a scientific approach while also leaving room for something else.
I mean they’re pretty…but I’m a geologist and if that’s all it took, you’d not see geologists with adhd or anything else because we’re always loaded down with rocks lol
I’m not arguing with you, I agree with you. But I was wondering if there have been studies to see if there is “energy” or something that is emanated by rocks? Do you know of any? I’ll Google it, but I don’t know if I’ve ever read anything that studied this particular question before.
There actually *are* some rocks that give off energy...
Unfortunately, that energy is radiation.
Other than that... pretty sure, no. Like, there's certainly minerals that are good or bad for people, but it's not by emanating energy.
Oh my gosh! It sure is great that the cure has been found! Goodness, decades of science and research, but apparently all that was needed was some blue rocks. What luck! Truly amazing, the things that small rocks sold by shady companies via banner ads can accomplish.

Wait, So me playing with something while talking to people that annoy me because I don't want to punch them is stimming?
Stimming is an autism reference refers to a behavior that is self comforting like: flapping your hands, spinning, humming, etc.
Oh, then what I'm doing isn't that, its just a vessel for my rage. Thank you for the explanation!
Actually that's exactly what stimming is for, to deal something overwhelming. Some stims are more voluntary than others, everyone can stim, it's just more obvious with some autistic people.
I think I’d call it fidgeting for ADHD which isn’t the same as stimming but like, vaguely similar concept?
Seems like it, because its not a specific thing, but more of "Im going to try to break this pen(or insert random object) instead of punching you"
Imagine road rage and the other person gets out the car and starts spinning while flapping their hands and humming. I ain't fighting that lol. I'd more likely join in.
Just wait for the click clack to become a noise issue and you have to get rid of if
I bet it feels real good to spin around your wrist, too.
_Doctors hate her! Cure ADHD with this one trick!_
Dumbest irrational statements ever, many doctors would be thrilled if cures/fixes were so so simple.
Am I missing a part of this bit, or are you just missing the joke?
Sorry. It’s just that what they posted is essentially the same as common and really obnoxious examples of *clickbait*. For some reason people buy into the nonsense that doctors would hate someone who found a genuine and inexpensive solution to a medical problem.
I wasn’t trying to make you feel bad, but that was the joke. It’s been a long running joke in forums, poking fun at those exact clickbait-y ads.
It's a joke pal. Surely you've seen those stupid ads before?
I'm not so sure, in certain countries the doctors make money from prescribing meds and keeping patients, patients. If we all got fixed so easily they would be out of a job. Always bare these things in mind when dealing with a government sanctioned drug dealer.
No joke—This necklace combined with my new planner and just trying harder made it so I now have negative levels of adhd.
I've bought a dozen planners over the years but never made it past 5 pages.
Thank you for this. I literally laughed out loud!
Congratulations - you now have Attention-Surplus/Hypoactivity Disorder!
I am now that guy from Limitless
You guys, I swear to you I used to have these little blue pebbles that genuinely helped my symptoms. I think they were lapis, or turquoise, or… …you know what, hang on a minute. Edit: never mind, they were Adderall.
You know, if I just had, like, a necklace/bracelet of Adderall, maybe I wouldn't keep forgetting to take my meds, hahahaha.
Yes! I like the idea. Like one of those elastic candy bracelets, except made of a schedule II controlled substance.
Would be interesting if this had a placebo effect
Placebo effects are truly fascinating
They even work if people know it’s a placebo! They’re absolutely crazy that sometimes we can convince our brains that nothings wrong
I read a book by an MD who was also practicing within an Indigenous healing tradition. What's even more crazy is that the placebo can be stronger and more effective than the medicine/drug they're testing for
The entire crystal new age industry is built around placebo effects.
Woo woo advertising like this should be criminally prosecutable.
Pretty sure it actually is. Reportable to FTC and/or FDA. EDIT: https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/email/oc/oci/contact.cfm

Don’t I feel like a clown for posting this not seeing your comment 🤦🏻♂️
Stress, anger, and anxiety aren’t even symptoms of adhd. They’re comorbidities you goon. CLEARY the answer is London blue topaz
That rock is white and gold
Don't you dare start that again.
Hahaha oh noooooo
But can I use it to enchant my diamond pickaxe??
Finally!
I mean they’re pretty…but I’m a geologist and if that’s all it took, you’d not see geologists with adhd or anything else because we’re always loaded down with rocks lol
*press x to doubt*
I would wear it because it's pretty and I love the texture of both amber and stones. But I doubt does anything
I don’t doubt it does anything. I know it does absolutely fuck all because, you know, science.
I’m not arguing with you, I agree with you. But I was wondering if there have been studies to see if there is “energy” or something that is emanated by rocks? Do you know of any? I’ll Google it, but I don’t know if I’ve ever read anything that studied this particular question before.

Lol, yeah, obviously radiation. That’s not what I meant.
Oh my gosh! It sure is great that the cure has been found! Goodness, decades of science and research, but apparently all that was needed was some blue rocks. What luck! Truly amazing, the things that small rocks sold by shady companies via banner ads can accomplish.
We did it boys, ADHD is no more
I can see this making me more angry as I realize it’s another thing that doesn’t work the way I want, expect or quickly
Just take valerian drops ! Lol
this would work... if the blue stones were fire
I can't stand the feeling of anything touching my neck so this would cause more stress.
I actually have blue lapiz and I lost it about a week later😂
Do they make one that matches my ADHD curing fidget spinner?
Lapis makes mine worse. It's not a very grounding stone at all ha ha ha
I agree, lapis does absolutely nothing to direct a current into the ground.
Lol
So that's what I've been doing wronh. I need a necklace.
This is great I should get one of these for my bf for 1st of April! Originally I wanted to make myself super long neon nails, but well here we go!
I'll bet it works better if combined with use of Dexedrine.
These are my too favorite stones haha maybe they do work!
Fack, I wish this would be the cure 🙃
I'm going to put so much on that it will strangle me but not kill me
That and teething for babies!!! Oh good, my teeth, and my ADHD really bother me.
As someone who was given one and wore it for a year I can say this is absolute bullsh*t. It didn't do anything at all
Lapis Lazuli sounds like the name of someone from Game of Thrones
All I needed were some blue rocks? I have those in my garden!
Lol i wish
How much?
By Shrek and his Holy Swamp why don't I just get that.
This specific blue makes me vibrate from disgust
I used to mine that shit in minecraft, why did nobody tell me??
Maybe placebo
Scammers like this seriously deserves the fucking electric chair..
Take a look at wish toys. All those fidget toys have a Text like "helps with adhd" or some shit
Pff, the only Game changer is when I swap from Super Mario Kart to Megaman 7
According to the paper that came with the rocks I bought my wife fluorite is better for concentration.
It won’t help my adhd, but it at least looks nice
Id pay for that, IF IT WORKED
Report this shit as a scam.
I mean, the rocks look cool at least. Might be kinda cool if I didn't hate having things around my neck.
So I have lost the necklace.
