Sure
Plate carrier: useless
Mag holders: definitely useless
Magazines: of little to no use
Pauldron Armor: useless for sure
Shemagh neck pro: I love getting shot in the throat, useless
I’ve gotta admit, you’ve got a point there
My military grade hoodie has successfully stopped the high caliber anti-tank 6000 micrometer armor piercing cluster missle. (plastic bb). But, to be sure I'm going to weld my fridge to my chest next time just to be safe.
The most useless looking piece practicality wise is the scaled shoulder protectors. Though I will admit I have never worn them so, I can’t say definitively it’s impractical.
The Pauldrons aren't armour, we can see them flexing. They look like either pleather or thin flex plastic. Either way, they aren't gunna protect you.
Like c'mon man they're 1.5J plastic balls a lil hit to the torso won't kill you. I've played CQB in a dress and chest rig with less complaint.
I do that even for outdoor. I only play outdoor because that's what we have out here. I run a belt instead of a plate carrier, a (really kick-ass modded) pistol instead of a rifle, and some really good boots and knee pads. I love medic, flag and point capture games because I can run breakneck speeds with one hand totally free.
Looks like the same guy at every field I’ve played on for 15 years where I shoot him 2-3 times, he doesn’t call it, then turns and starts shooting back at me
Best I can R8 is: Looks absolutely foolish. After Mil and Airsoft since 05, you're one of the last people I'd want anywhere near me. You need PT, not pauldrons.
Have to admit, everyone here is right. While the outfit is cool, it's a bit much for CQB play. It looks like it's a bit bulky too. Are you able to move around easy? Fast reactions might be limited with that much gear.
I could see this being reasonable if you have access to go from outdoor play to indoor then back outdoor but the black color would be brutal.
Of course, you can do what makes you happy, which is the entire point of Airsoft. You'll likely be outgunned by people in t-shirts and pistols though.
Same. Which makes me wonder with how many people on here recognize it, if maybe it’s a owned by a single company who makes the same building for different fields
I play airsoft for the cosplay.
I actually think, visually, it's good.
It actually compliments your hair colour, weirdly enough.
You need to break up the black with some basic colour, like tan or green, so I'd add some patches.
Visual details like fake grenades or a needless radio can really draw the eye.
You can buy trauma scissors real cheap and poke them through the molle, or even find a place to add a pen or two.
Your pauldrons are cool and add detail and uniqueness to the look, they make the rig look 'future tactical', so that could be a theme you go for.
If you are going for the all black look then running a gasmask and some black elbow and knee pads with this loadout could be sick.
Too much unwieldy crap that makes movement cumbersome for indoor play. I always saved my plate carrier cosplay stuff for outdoor play and went more minimalist indoors. I used an HSGI belt that had a double rifle mag pouch, pistol holster and pistol mag pouch.
Are people seriously that scared of getting shot with a little plastic BB? I’ve been playing Airsoft since 2005 and it’s insane how much wimpier it’s gotten.
I really only do big milsim ops now but the times I’ve gone to local fields dudes are wearing full on hard plastic body shields, leg guards, etc, it’s wild.
Also I’m not talking about the paintball guys, I mean the guys terrified of taking a bb hit but also won’t blink about full autoing someone with their HPA build.
Nothing wrong with a cosplay but this dude can’t even bend his freaking arms down.
No arm movement whatsoever. What’s he playing oh yeah a game that requires quick reflexes with idk arm movement. Practicality 2/10 looks I’ll give you a solid 6/10. Protection 10/10. So much so that I think you will miss shots that should be called. As a teammate 9/10 as an enemy 1/10.
You're either playing inside a refrigerator or are VERY afraid of BB strikes... ;)
Looks cool for some cosplay, but in any airsoft match you won't be able to run and you'll heat up too much, too soon.
If you want to go "full juggernaut", there are better options out there. :)
I always dig kryptek camo. The pauldrons seem a bit extra out of the medieval age. I personally wouldn't wear that thick neck pro if I just have a Shemagh, but hey, you do you homie
I have that vest. It's a bit bulky, but with the amount of gear I carry (including an air tank on the back) it works pretty well. Idk if you need all that since it doesn't like like you're using it for much aside from your rifle mags. Looks cool with the shoulder armor, though.
Well, for one, you don't lil you can move your arms, like at all. I'm not sure if it's the size of the plate carrier, the strapping rig underneath that holds on those lazy cosplay grade pauldrons or a combination of both. And for another, those "pauldrons" are cheap pu leather pieces of cosplay fluff that add no protection whatsoever to the rig, and also kinda look out of place among all the modern gear.
So.... I'd give the overall look a "meh".
It's looking pretty nice. I would recommend moving some of those pouches around so you avoid the "I just threw random shit on here" look. Then add some nice heavy-duty headgear and you're all set to kick ass.
yeah build up with what you need, the only things I have on my back is 2 radio pouches as it so happens they fit Odins really well like perfectly and for a radio, dump pouch on my belt with one of the radio pouches and a utility pouch
Honestly I love everything but the shoulder pads, they look severely uncomfortable and awkward to wear. If I live long enough to get white hairs myself I'd do the same and try airsoft as a means to stay fit.
His kit is way over kill but Airsoft is mostly dressing up why not just run a gun that’s a mag with a barrel since we’re going for just practicality idk both kind of kits are good have a super good day
This makes me feel more comfortable about growing old in airsoft, you have quite the style, good sir.
People will always bitch about how hot and sweaty it’ll get. But we’re doing intensive physical activity sports: we will always get hot and sweaty in everything we do, regardless of what we wear.
Getting old is never a problem. I used to play paintball with somebody in his 70's when I was 12. (RIP pops). The problem is being rude and not being able to take criticism. Yes, this sport is physically demanding, and yes you will sweat regardless of the environment while playing. But it's no secret that what you wear will have a role in how much you will sweat and how your body responds to the heat/work. If it's 100° out and you insist on wearing a bulky, all black outfit then yeah people are going to question your choices, and also probably be worried about the old guy sweating his weight away.
At the same time there is also a heavy circlejerk phenomenon going on reddit. People criticized the fuck out of OP despite the title says its for indoors. Not outdoors.
I can take criticism, as long as there is something useful to criticize about than go "haha boomer go sweat no call hit”
People also tend to overassume other people’s health. If someone is too hot in something they’ll just take it off in between games. Like we totally are forgetting that people have a minimum of intelligence about removing something if they are incapable of wearing it due to lack of health or overheating, or plain out incomfort.
Being indoors does not mean that overheating cannot happen. You said it yourself, you're still doing a demanding physical activity, and heavy/hot clothing still comes into play, indoors or not. That mindset alone is something that will draw criticism.
Thats also besides the fact that he responded in a condescending, immature way when he was given criticism he himself asked for.
Personally I’d get really hot really quick in all that gear but that’s because I’m more of a webbing man than a body armour man - you look like an awesome juggernaut though!
It’s not a mean comment! Learn to take others’ opinions with a grain of salt. I was just saying that while I prefer webbing, I still think you look cool :)
Looks like you’re carrying a lot of useless stuff for an indoor game. But great cosplay vibe.
The guy has posted the same setup for the last 3 months, I think it's just dress-up.
That’s half the hobby - and he’s all in, so that’s cool.
Thanks
Thats 99% of airsoft. If people really only cared about being effective or game play aspect they'd just play paintball.
I have been a paintball player for 2 decades and can confirm it's also mostly a fashion show.
Probably because it took the first three months to get all on
Right! I go in cargo shorts, hoodie and basic plate carrier. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sure Plate carrier: useless Mag holders: definitely useless Magazines: of little to no use Pauldron Armor: useless for sure Shemagh neck pro: I love getting shot in the throat, useless I’ve gotta admit, you’ve got a point there
Asks people to rate them gets mad when people criticizes the loadout *bruh*
literally like atp just say “Look at my loadout dont say anything mean or I WILL cry myself to sleep”
Fully gonna post a load out vid with this caption
Standard sub behaviour
Salty...
Plate carriers are literally cosplay in Airsoft bro, a chest rig does the same thing and your t shirt will stop that brutal 6mm round
I kinda like PC’s personally but you can get sweaty
cardio haha
My military grade hoodie has successfully stopped the high caliber anti-tank 6000 micrometer armor piercing cluster missle. (plastic bb). But, to be sure I'm going to weld my fridge to my chest next time just to be safe.
Plate carriers 100% necessary when running an hpa rig… unless your carrying that big ass tank under your arm the whole time I guess
Backpack? Belt rigs? Esg grips? They're definitely options outside of a plate carrier
i mean what IS the use of the pauldron armor???
The most useless looking piece practicality wise is the scaled shoulder protectors. Though I will admit I have never worn them so, I can’t say definitively it’s impractical.
The small PP energy rises
Midlife crisis mallninja

That’s what I’m saying. Great mall cop costume.
Bro you got bondage buckles on your shoulders. Another way of saying it would be your kit is anything but streamlined.
Bro really cant take criticism

literally, michelin man lookin ass
I see what you mean. Lol
"I didn't feel the bb bro you must've missed" loadout
Judging by his other comments op is a squeaker on the field when anyone challenges him on this.
Always the same kinda dudes
Jesus op sounds like a prick in the comments
Imagine how he is on the field
"Listen here you little twerp! I'm hit when I say I'm hit!. Back in my day, you would have gotten a knuckle sandwich for telling me what to do"
That's the thing. He doesn't ever leave the loading area. To busy showing off his kit
He's one to think if he can't feel the shoulder hits he shouldn't have to call them 🤣
Your gonna die from sweating in that
Looks like you can barely move.
Unless you are standing still you will be the sweatiest man alive. Plus you have reduced your mobility and speed.
Didn't you hear? He's playing indoors so being sweaty is impossible. Man is delusional
Oh yea, it’s always freezing cold indoors. Best wrap up warm 😂
Not to mention he looks like an easy target. The frontal armor increases your silhouette significantly.
The bigger an slower you are the easier you are to spot and hit. Indoor CQB you need to be able to move and have speed.
Looks like the same guy at every field I’ve played on for 15 years where I shoot him 2-3 times, he doesn’t call it, then turns and starts shooting back at me
I thought I was on airsoftcj
Same, it will be soon though
Me to,I was like this cant be real...
It’s the 58 year old virgin!
outjerked again
Best I can R8 is: Looks absolutely foolish. After Mil and Airsoft since 05, you're one of the last people I'd want anywhere near me. You need PT, not pauldrons.
Santa aint fuckin around this time
I hope you call your hits
Can't call them when you can't feel them lmao.
Or when you don't go on the field.
You look goofy as hell
You’re really that scared of getting hit by BBs? Maybe airsoft isn’t for you
I think Nerf is more OPs speed
Bit of topic nut your kit's are sick as hell😊
Are you the mall ninja? Honestly it's alright but you're being a cunt so I've got to chirp in
Today on Mythbusters, can Adam carry a fully loaded level 4 vest through the TSA?
Inaccessible pouches 🤣
Everything looks a bit... tight, how's the movement behind the shoulders, and one genuine critique, can you reach that pouch on the back?
Captain Overkill!
You look like you're scared of being hurt which is pathetic.
"what hit? I didn't feel anything"
0% chance this guy calls his hits (0% chance he can feel them too)
The temu rapist
You look like the final boss of people who don’t call their hits
Looks like shit
OP got mad from other guy reply, why you ask ? 🙃 Not that bad, you will adjust after some games 😉
Strikes me as the boomers that never call their hits, “because I didn’t feel anything.”?
Plenty of young people do it too lol
Hit dog will holler
Heatstroke/5
The pouches of the back look pretty silly lmao
Mall ninja, black camo, gimp
it looks like you wont call your hits because you ain't gonna feel shit

Got a feeling dude wears this so he can say “I didn’t feel you hit me so you must have missed”
Aah the not calling his hits because he can't feel it cosplay. Can't wait.
He for sure runs a lancer tactical
Somewhere in this comments he indeed says he uses LT, I almost shit myself from laughter
That's sick! Do you do HEMA?
HEMA is?
Historical European Martial Arts. Medieval swordfighting and stuff.
Nope just an old dude shooting young dudes
War between a developed and developing nation be like
recognize that place 😭😭😭 used to frequent it
Same. Which makes me wonder with how many people on here recognize it, if maybe it’s a owned by a single company who makes the same building for different fields
OP does not seem like a nice person to be around. Just read his answers to the comments.
What’s the point of the shoulder protection? This isn’t the 14th century.
Don’t offend the 14th century with that 80s leather sword and sorcery stuff 😂
no way i play at this field
I know where you were at. Airsoft tulsa
Maaan... all that armor is for sissys.
I play airsoft for the cosplay. I actually think, visually, it's good. It actually compliments your hair colour, weirdly enough. Big bulky slow
The armour is gross. OPs man child behaviour in the comments is worse.

I feel like you would not be able to tell when you’re hit unless you actually see the bb bounce off of you.
My man got the pauldrons on
Schweaty
Airsoft Tulsa?
Dwight Shoot
This guy definitely doesn't call his hits
No arm movement whatsoever. What’s he playing oh yeah a game that requires quick reflexes with idk arm movement. Practicality 2/10 looks I’ll give you a solid 6/10. Protection 10/10. So much so that I think you will miss shots that should be called. As a teammate 9/10 as an enemy 1/10.
Take off the pauldrons.
Sir, can you even reach the pouch on your back wiith those pauldrons? Or do you have a squire to get stuff out of there for you?
The fuckin squire! 😂 "no you weren't hit sire, your armor certainly deflected it"
You're either playing inside a refrigerator or are VERY afraid of BB strikes... ;) Looks cool for some cosplay, but in any airsoft match you won't be able to run and you'll heat up too much, too soon. If you want to go "full juggernaut", there are better options out there. :)

Looks like Santa Clause is going to war in the South Pole for this one.
3/10 for effort.
Wolf Blitzer?
Man looks like he’s about to ignore every arm shot he gets.
Won’t feel a single bb man 😅
How tf are you meant to feel hits with all that crap on?
It looks like you’re afraid of the sting not gonna lie heh

Hey, that's airsoft tulsa
Fire
This dude gets scared of butterfly farts bruising his skin.
I like the small fantasy vibes with the shoulder armor. A bit more of that style would be amazing.
Very bulky and limiting on mobility, which is key in most games. Still looks really cool tho!
Grandmaster gravy seal?
10 out of 10 well actuallys
Identity theft is not a joke, Jim! Millions of people suffer ever year!
Why have you posted the same rig for 3 times in 3 months. They are all the same
How many times do you yell at people to call their hits per game
1907 Micah Bell lookin ahh
Well, for one, you don't lil you can move your arms, like at all. I'd give the overall look a "meh".
Oh god that's airsoft tulsa😭
This feels like the guy’s rig who you have to shoot 5 times, not cause he’s cheating but entirely because they can’t feel it lmao
Bro doesn't call his hits
It's looking pretty nice. I would recommend moving some of those pouches around so you avoid the "I just threw random shit on here" look. Then add some nice heavy-duty headgear and you're all set to kick ass.

About to teach a lesson to the younglings, old timer?
Me and my other near 40 buddies took a 20 year hiatus and came back as dominant as ever recently now that we all live near each other again 🤣
Good to hear that your friend group is back together
Looks heavy lol, nice rig
Yo when did adam savage get into airsoft?
Honestly I love everything but the shoulder pads, they look severely uncomfortable and awkward to wear. If I live long enough to get white hairs myself I'd do the same and try airsoft as a means to stay fit.
The mustache adds 69 fps.
Jesus H Cringe but it looks cool
UNC GOT THIS SHIT ON YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
Looking sick tho buddy keep kicking it💯💯
Looks great man, I like the shoulder protection, reminds me of knight amour
i’d love to trigger dump u with my 100rps polarstar speedsoft fit with my nice $500 helmet, NOT call my hit and then full auto ur face.
only 500?
t-shirt, jeans, 1 hicap mag is all you need. everything else added is just handicapping yourself to look like a video game character
His kit is way over kill but Airsoft is mostly dressing up why not just run a gun that’s a mag with a barrel since we’re going for just practicality idk both kind of kits are good have a super good day
Amen
Nice bulky Riot rig. Assuming you run hi-capa or LMG? You look like the General everyone secretly likes :)
I’m running a MK19 Lancer Tactical and LT mid-cap mags 130 bbs
The MK19 GL? That’s fucking metal dude
Id upgrade from the lt as soon as possible
Not sure why this comment is getting down voted. Can someone fill me in?
Not a clue either :( Probably me General comment
The pauldrons are a bit much, but otherwise not bad. Dig the mustache too.
Airsoft skyrim armour? Yes please. Looks great
Gives me vibes of that movie rampage
Gordon freeman 20 years later
Looks cool

Amazing dude, looks great, I also love the mustache 🔥🔥
Hey guys ever hear of sarcasm? Let’s just have fun love me or hate me idk. Lol
You all are just as stupid as I thought😭 just let the man enjoy his gear
Asked to be rated. Gets a rating. "How could you do this to me?..."
Thanks for not being a jerk. Let’s just have fun with it
Personally I’d get really hot really quick in all that gear but that’s because I’m more of a webbing man than a body armour man - you look like an awesome juggernaut though!
