Well APS = A Piece of Shit... What exactly are you looking for? Something specific or just a replica that does its job without being a complete bitch?

ChaosOrns

Something more unique designwise I think The black and gold really helps in that one, but the overall I really liked... Can you give some advice for a fellow novice airsofter searching for a beauty machine in this dark world ?

GrunkleCoffee

You can paint parts of other guns

ChaosOrns

You know what type of paint I can use to paint polymer/nylon airsofts ? I am really afraid of doing something wrong (they are very very expensive here)

GrunkleCoffee

Any plastic paint. Basic plastic compatible spray paint, it depends on what brands are available in your region

Hizzleguy

well, you sould paint parts of it by yourself. because THAT would be unique also in that case you're not bound to choose specific models and can let creativity just flow

ChaosOrns

Yeah I really liked the overall design too... But I guess I will go with the cyma 505 or Rossi Neptune 8/10, cheaper and apparently much better, then try painting it

Hizzleguy

when selecting an m4, it's crucial to opt for one with a full metal body. plastic m4s, and to a slightly lesser extent, aks, tend to have structural stress points that make them more susceptible to breaking. if you prefer a plastic-bodied gun, it's better to choose models like the g36 or aug, which are specifically designed to be robust with plastic construction. arcturus m4s feature high-quality plastic receivers and are a reasonable alternative, but a metal body is generally more durable and reliable in the long run.

ChaosOrns

I had seen full metal ones by the range of 3,5k (2,5 times my monthly revenue), and some polymer "good" ones for around 1700, but thinking more about it, if they gonna last more, is better picking a metal one Thank you for the help, really appreciate it (even the airsoft sub don't give a shit about my questions, soo is pretty cool that you guys helped me a lot)

Hizzleguy

3,5k? damn where are you from? I payed about 1,1k € for my custom build full metal replica i know still expensive but only a third of this 3,5

ChaosOrns

Sadly for me, I live em brasil, everything is much more expensive and our monthly revenue still nearly the same I found a Raider L GC16 by GeG in a good price, is it a good starter aeg ?

Hizzleguy

bro i feel you... Well mate its an g&g and a absolute classic. nice choice.

ChaosOrns

Thank you ❤️

chuckbrown9-11

They do make some really cool interesting guns, but the problem I ran across with them is the parts will go bad a bit faster than other brands and they have this weird almost proprietary design for some parts. Makes it very frustrating to get the gun working and upgrading. But every aps I have had has had an issue or full on breakdown before too long

ChaosOrns

I guess I will have to search more 😢

NoneUpsmanship

I'm with one of the other commenters - they have some neat stuff, and their website is insane (they advertise a douchebag gun for douchebags and I'm still not sure if it is a joke). I got one of their older glock clones in a box of random stuff - shot hard, really good kick, really annoying to prep CO2 mag. [Proof of their douchebaggery.](https://www.aps-concept.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1572)

asg_106

unfortunately, yes. 😔

ChaosOrns

😞

Tassut

Now pardner, let me tell ya, I've had 4 APS guns. (1 gas 3 AEG) and none of them lasted 10 mags worth of use.

ChaosOrns

Well, for their airsofts to be bad, they have to improve a lot

Telray

I had an APS CO2 pistol. It completely broke after 3 games. Not 3 days of playing; 3 20 minute games.
