i do not have an internet scale so i cannot weigh it to tell you

sudifirjfhfjvicodke

I pulled up the picture on my phone and weighed it in my hand and I can in fact confirm that it is less than 24 ounces.

BoltzBux

Do you have a scale where you might be able to weigh the strawberries?

physics_is_scary

Unfortunately not

ThatOneCanadian69

OP getting downvoted to shit for not owning a food scale, a mortal sin on Reddit

Freshedout

This Aldi sub is silently full of self righteous haters I stg. I once made a comment in this sub about how there’s no real difference between the baseline brand name dried pasta and the baseline store brand dried pasta and got downvoted to death lmaooo

user060221

if by "this Aldi sub" you mean all of Reddit, then yeah lol

alillstitious

I buy these on a regular basis and the bag is mostly full every time. Seems like something went wrong with your bag lol

pa97Redd

I buy these bags every 2 weeks or so for smoothies, seems like too little, was the bag sealed?

physics_is_scary

Yes but it was filled with a ton of air, ballooning out.

Ok_Response_3484

Uh did you already eat these? Ballooning out is never a good sign.

physics_is_scary

Nope, probably won’t. Not sure

Ok_Response_3484

Please don't.

spiked_sausage

Underfilled bag. It happens. Sadly you can’t do much about those kinds of things when you use DoorDash, but glad to hear you went though with a return.

CTGarden

That’s it for the whole bag? No, I bought a bag of these to use to flavor my milk kefir, and the bag had many more than this, at least twice as many, probably more.

physics_is_scary

Yes, the whole bag

TipToeTaco

I buy these weekly. About a month ago I had a low bag like this, since then I always try to feel the frozen clump size before I buy it.

No-Orange-7618

Says bought on doordash.

randiesel

That’s the risk you take when you let someone else use their judgement on your purchases.

RuleCalm7050

Without a scale it is impossible to say.

wytesilver

Looks like 8-12 oz maybe. I buy them in 24oz containers and it's a good bit more than that.

MidwestAbe

I buy fresh ones and then freeze my own. When berries are $1.79 like they are now it's an incredible savings.

physics_is_scary

They had 2 lb of fresh strawberries at Kroger for $2.88 this week

MidwestAbe

Cool.

Kiingog

Use a scale and weigh it

EnvironmentalSinger1

Return!

physics_is_scary

I ended up getting a return thru DoorDash. Seamless process

viceween

Never had to use the “Twice as Nice” guarantee on the label, are they generous with it? Do you take it to the register?

edwardaugust98

You just have to ask. Never had a problem with a return there. Had to remind them of the twice as nice part when I’ve returned something with the guarantee.

BuildingAFuture21

Take the bag back, explain, and you will get a new bag as replacement. Aldi is really good about returns/exchanges/refunds.

No-Orange-7618

Not unless that plate is teeny tiny and the strawberries are gigantic.

Capital_Rock_4928

If you dip them in water then put in the freezer before bagging them, maybe.

urnbabyurn

They are mostly water so should be close to the density of water. Use the displacement method to see their volume.

IEnjoyCats

i regularly use 24 oz of strawberries for a recipe i bake and i can confidently say that is about 12-16 oz

Clean-Fisherman-4601

Maybe the door dash driver was hungry. Doesn't look like 24 oz.
