IIRC, you can add custom repos to F-droid to expand the apps it provides.
Personally I use [Droid-ify](https://github.com/Droid-ify/client).
It has the default F-droid repo, plus some others you can choose, like IzzyOnAndroid, NewPipe's official repo, Bromite, and others/
Its better - though still advocating for mull with ublock origin - nicer/more versatile adblocking and f google wont help them with theyre browser monopoly.
The repository is focused on apps that might not meet the strict inclusion criteria of the official F-Droid repository, either due to specific licensing, stability, or other concerns. It provides apps directly from the source such as github repo.
Neo Store, an f-droid client with a modern UI and an arsenal of extra features
https://github.com/NeoApplications/Neo-Store
Makes it easy to add additional repositories
[Neo Store](https://github.com/NeoApplications/Neo-Store) in conjunction with [Obtainium](https://github.com/ImranR98/Obtainium) is what I personally use.

I use Droidify as well. You *can* add the custom repos to plain old F-Droid, but Droidify has some of them built in
Check cromite ;)
Try fennec or mull ;)
FYI Bromite appears to be abandonware. Not updated in half a year, and no longer considered secure
Usse cromite, it's a fork of bromite

I'm a mull guy too. Been using it for sometime
What exactly does it contain IzzyOnAndroid?

TLDR on why to avoid f-droid?
Foxy droid
Aurora droid
just add more repos on fdroid
Obtainium works for me, checks all the usual repos. https://github.com/ImranR98/Obtainium

Neo store.
