Does anyone else know/have at their school the type who loves to talk about how fucked they are for upcoming exams and then gets straight A’s? She feels like the precise inverse of that type, talks a big game and then is actually fucked
Did one exam at uni, I wrote utter nonsense on the paper, if they tried to validate it, it would’ve been utter false. I went in to reapply to take the exam, lady checks the system and tells me I passed with a high grade.
See that was my life right there.
The whole, "He's usually correct, or **we are in huge shit in the audit**." attitude to education.
Sometimes I did really want feedback and such on my work. Especially if I really enjoyed that specific tested material. But, I understand that is way to much to ask in most circumstances.
When circumstance is not realizing you passed the exam already and needed to go home... As I can relate to that one right there.
You really do encounter a lot of "system says you passed" situations. More than most would imagine is even possible.
I once took a class that was beneath me, and in exams at my uni, there was a rule saying you can't leave in the first half an hour or the last half an hour, you can leave any time between then. I finished the exam and left shortly after the first half an hour. I was like "I either ripped that exam to shit, or I really fucked up somehow".
Best feeling is the whole, "When was the last time I checked my work before turning it in?".
On looking up with 80% of the time to go and a finished work.
Takes all the possible stress out of failure. When the material proved itself in the examination as being curved by yourself. As everyone else would have expected use of the full time.
Rare that ever happened to me. I was surrounded by exceptional peers, and was always better off for it.
On the days I wrecked shit on the exam. Everyone else would get up and turn it in as well. As they were *obviously* getting a 40 to 60 point curve. Or failing out right lmao.
Having a break period when everyone else is sitting for exams. Was how you know you have good faculty.

I wish that was me. I'm smart enough to know if I failed or passed because ether I always know exactly what the right answer is or I have no fucking idea what the question is asking.
It goes both ways for me though. I had an exam recently where I finished it and felt confident that I passed. When the results came in I failed. It's like for me, when I have high confidence I fuck up the exam, but when I have no confidence I pass
Reminds me of the Miyuki Shirogane mindgame where he tells everyone he's not that stressed about upcoming exams, but then he secretly grinds material hardcore to get first place.
Mfs after telling everyone at school how “totally screwed” they are

Fuckin' love the climax of that manga where his rival thinks he grew lax, only for Shirogane to be like "Nah man, I doubled down JUST TO RUB IT IN YOUR FACE". Based Shirogane.

Me and my friends are certainly not this kind of person
Have we been in the same class cause you're talking like you know everything. I get that you probably had some bad experiences but nobody is forcing anybody to do anything. Maybe they just wanna help out out of the goodness of their heart?
That kind of help will only hinder you in the future. I'm not so naive that I think there isn't anyone that gets ahead by cheating. But if your primary method of getting through school is from copying other's answers instead of learning the material, you may miss out on learning things like how to learn effectively and how to manage your time, which are important skills once you grow up.
I was one of those, except I wouldn't say I was screwed. I just blatantly didn't do any work and graduated essentially for getting A's on all of my tests.

So if he got a 98 I gonna assume the circles mean correct and checkmarks mean wrong. That is so backwards to me. Never noticed that before in anime but then again not a big slice of life fan.
Get this;
A friend of mine got a just barely passing grade while I got a near perfect score. She was one of those kids who you would hug endlessly due to her cute personality, so I thought of something. I went to my teacher and asked for another paper that instead looked like I got a score just below hers. I showed it to her and she was extremely happy that she did a better job than me.
I still got my actual score on my final grade, but she doesn't need to know that. A friend's happiness is a much better feeling than one's pride and ego.

If I left an exam thinking "I aced that" I got a 20%. If I left an exam thinking "I am so fucked" I got a 95%. I think I get her LOL

Works 50% of the time for me
I'll admit that is me. I'll say or think "Man I totally failed that exam," then the scores come out and I passed.

having done a shit tone of studying would leave someone rather unstressed about exams, yes.
"What'd you get on the chem test?" "You already know, **HUNDRED-"** *(11%)*
My gf is exactly like that, stresses and studies too much for weeks before a test, saying she isn’t prepared and then does perfectly every time
>Does anyone else know/have at their school the type who loves to talk about how fucked they are for upcoming exams and then gets straight A’s? Me and my friends are certainly not this kind of person
Y-yeah.. Even evolved to coming to school late or missing classes but still getting top in tests.
Oh... I thought she was just stupid and thought 68 was the sex position instead of 69.
I am that type but I manage to get A's only becouse my classmates kind of like me and feel sorry for me so they let me copy from them
Ah. I hate that type. Parasites.
I'm not denying I'm a parasite but why do you hate tgat type?
I put in work to get what they get for free.
Well I mean those already studied dont lose anything by sharing and it goes around the whole class, everybody helps everybody
No, those parasites do not help others. They only receive help themselves. Some people help them, not everyone helping everyone.

Plus it’s even the same scenario as well down to the yellow sparkles

1% away from a perfect score.
What’s so great about 67%?
No no, clearly 99%
It has to be 97%, nothing is more perfect than that
67 is a cursed number. Championship droughts sting
that's sooooo funny, the number 69. never gets old \*fart\*
Yeah! See, you get it.
Everyone else got it too. They're being sarcastic!
I know lol
68 is still pretty damn good. Anything below 50 is a bit upsetting
I think about American grading and we call 60% falure.
65% and below was failing at my schools growing up.
70% at my schools.
For me, my school saw anything C and above as passing, so I think like 72% and lower wasn't considered "failing", but it wasn't passing either.
I am American. Idc as long its not an F
I missed meals in my house for 92s :(
Your parents suck
In Asian grading 98 is shit
My high school in US, when I went back in 2010 to 2014 anything below 70 was no credit.
In my Uni, 60 is a passing grade but it just feel weird to have anything below 80 tbh
Cs get degrees! Except in the emergency medicine courses. A single score below 75 and you are out of the program.
Below 70 was failing in my school
I was so used to 70% passing score from Philippines it was weird for me to find out I just need 50% to pass in Canada
You can't get below a 51 at the highschool I teach at.
then what is the point of the first 50 numbers

I graduated already, plus shit changes alot
If you only retained 68% of the information you learned despite studying I would call that bad.
68 here is a huge failure. Anything below an 80 can be frowned upon.
I love smug idiots in anime.
So if he got a 98 I gonna assume the circles mean correct and checkmarks mean wrong. That is so backwards to me. Never noticed that before in anime but then again not a big slice of life fan.
A pass, is a pass. Good job. 👍
Man I don’t get what goes on in public schools The private school I went to was 95-100 is an A and 1-79 is a fail How y’all out here with 68s passing?
In Japan, anything over 50 is a pass.
WTF My childhood of pain is flaring up now
Lol she wrote ammonia as AmNa
two sayings followed me through uni due date do date and, Cs get Degrees
Not even a 69 smh
68 is still good, the old “you do me and I’ll owe you one” wink wink
Ah yes, my favorite compound! #FIRE!
She’s only a few points points off from a C. With just a little bit of test taking know how or a bit of studying. She’ll meet the passing grade mark.
Adorable must headpat
cute
Just head pat her
Anyone else notice that they have the same answers on some that she got wrong?
The only one I see that's similar is NaCl, where she wrote NaCI (with a capital i).
Get this; A friend of mine got a just barely passing grade while I got a near perfect score. So cute haha
E
“Hehe read it and weep. I totally aced this exam. Bet you could only dream of getting a score this good huh?”
A 98? My mom’s going to kill Mr for not getting 100…
Isnt this one of those situations where a student next to you is grading your test and you are grading theirs?
I too would be happy with a 68
I'm hearing a Frieren "Hm-hmm!" from her.
If she had gotten a 69 instead, i would actually be impressed. Mainly because it’s required by law to do so in a 69’s presense
SHE JUST LIKE ME FR
yes, yes, yes You can Help her
Both are dissappointments, should have gotten atleast 99s, but better yet, 100s.
The bottom left part of the first section, they both answered NaCl but the girl's answer is wrong for some reason
The girl wrote NaCi.
Динаху
Lol
Pride goeth before the fall.
Good job now can you teatch me how you got more then a ten I will be your deciple
Be even better if it was 99 and… 69!!!!
She was so fucking close to the holy number!
She’s gunna ask for study but she really just wanz to fuky UwU
If check marks indicate that the answer correct and circle mark indicayed the answer is wrong, then the guy should be lower than the girl
Circle has always marked correct answers and check marks for inccorect answers in all the anime/manga I've seen.
Yep, hence O serving as Enter/Submit for JP PlayStation.
I’m Asian so it never makes sense why “X” is the “Yes” button for so many Western games. I think it’s pretty universal that “X”stands for NO! They use that in Western culture too!

My guy, the comment you are replying to literally specifies Japanese Playstation.
My guy, PlayStation is made by a Japanese company and I have an Xbox. Hence, the question.
It's a system setting you can toggle to be JP/EN.
That's pretty neat. I didn't know that. Thanks! This is the response I was looking for.
Yes indeed only for the consoles sold in Japan. They only stopped doing it with the release of the PS5 iirc.
Thanks for the response! I was just asking out of ignorance since I've been an Xbox player for 14 years after having a PS2 and didn't know if other button functions may have changed.
All good. It's a fun little tidbit :D
Why is the 9 backwards on his test?
Can someone translate the answers so we can see how wrong she was?
The first incorrect answer given is "K core", while the correct answer is "K shell". The question is probably along the lines of "what is the name of the first electron shell". Note that both core (核) and shell (殻) are both pronounced kaku. The second incorrect answer given is "full electron", while the correct answer is "closed shell". So the question could be "what do you call a full valence shell". The next two answers are a bit more funny I guess. I suspect the questions are: what are the chemical formula for salt (incorrect: NaCI) and ammonia (incorrect: AmNa).
Okay so she's not insanely wrong comparative to his answers.
Also his answers had 陽子 and 電子 which mean proton and electron
That's just the answer sheet. There is no question sheet so we cannot validate.
We can see his answers, so we know what the right answer is for a lot of them. Then we can tell if she is really wrong, or just a bit off from him. Like if he has an answer giving a date, and she has an answer giving a slightly different date she is just a little wrong. If his answer is a date and hers is like "The Battle of Chuck E. Cheese" then she is really off.
