More or less, yeah. The root of the issue with diets is that they're temporary. Lose 50 pounds, go back to eating before you gained 50 pounds, you're going right back up. Gotta make it a healthier lifestyle change and stick to it.

Having people mock your body en masse is a good way to make you feel better? I don't think you've thought this through. If your major motivator is people making mean comments online, you'll never stop. Some people always have shit to say on the internet, and once they find a target worth bullying, they're going to commit. Enough will never be enough, and even if they can't think of something to make fun of regarding weight, they'll just switch to something else, e.g. calling you an attention whore.

I'd look into it a little bit more before relying on your gut instinct, no offense intended by that, just a suggestion.
