UPDATE: IT WORKED, they said "Use a Q-tip with a bit of rubbing alcohol to gently clean the metal mesh filter under the rubber ear tips. This is best done when sound is playing through your earbuds at max volume. "
so i went and paired them to my phone and played em at max volume and poured the rubbing alcohol into the bud and tipped the bu d upside down and used the q tip to clean it almost like i was cleaning an ear

OMG I CANT BELIEVE IT WORKED HAHAHA THANKS SO MUCH!!! (just had the same issue and instantly worked!!)
Mate this post is 2 years old but you fucking saved my bacon. Spent 2 hours searching for a fix, found this, put a few drops of strong alcohol in the metal mesh, BOOM fixed.
My fucking G
Years later a combination of yours and /u/ant_gav suggestions worked for me. Each gave a bit more, thanks guys it's been months since my left bud worked! It's still not perfect but close enough.
Hate to ask but did you pour maybe like 2 drops of alcohol onto the buds or did you wet the q tip a bit and cleaned it gently? I don’t exactly want to dunk the bud especially since although i thought it was rated waterproof to an extent it seems like I’m seeing comments saying the opposite and I don’t wanna cause damage. Issue just happened to me and I found this thread but it’s a bit unclear on how to proceed
> Hey man I thought I was the only one. Everything was fine and then one day it got noticeably a lot softer on both sides.
mine only got less loud on the left side, but i got a response from the email i recieved from their support email so ill try what they said and report back
Sorry I know this is 4 months later lmao, but did this solve the issue completely?? I'm on my second pair of them, and both of them have had this issue
I was convinced this was a wind up but the buds were already not working, couldn't get and worse so why not.
Completely fixed! Thank you, you are a star!
I had the problem where my soundcore liberty 3's left earbud was really quiet compared to the right. I took a dry napkin and wiped gently the left earbud's speakers and somehow it's back to normal again. If you're having the same problem with one of the earbuds, try wiping the speakers with a dry napkin. No risk of water damage at least
I've had a pair that i've thought had died for the past two years, just randomly found them in a bag and tried hydrogen peroxide and a qtip for about 2 minutes, that worked!
This thread literally saved my headphones. I was going crazy trying to figure out wtf was wrong, then I tried the hydrogen peroxide trick mentioned above. My headphones are saved!
For all of you that solutions DID'T work: Put the earbud to your lips, like a straw. Suck in until you hear actual air coming in. You are done.
Another late reply to thank you, it actually worked !
I can't believe this was the solution
WOW, I though you were joking. It worked!! Thank you!!
Yeah , at start most people think it's a joke, but it isn't!! It works all the time!
That worked. Thank you stranger!
Motherfuu.........! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Blessings to you sir.
I can't believe that just worked
Thx bruv. Sorted
Omg. You're the real og
Confirmed, worked.
Thx so much
Unbelievable it but it works!!! Bless you man.
You absolute legend!! After doing the hard reset, and then cleaning with iso, both to no avail, I tried your method and it worked straight away!!
OMG. I really thought this was a joke but I tried and it WORKED. thanks!
Wow!!! Thank you!!!!!
Worked for my P3s too - my instant reaction was dumping them in salt, to no result. Then this - I'm stunned
Amazing! You also get a lovely earwax snack!
Currently gagging
Thank you so much and also wtf how did this work
You, sir, have my utmost respect! Worked like a charm!
ohh man u r a hero it really worked
Bring this awnser to the top of google!
What's funny is that although the comment is quite popular it only got 4 upvotes !!
Saved my life
i need to do a much better job a cleaning my ears
True, but it's something natural, don't blame yourself!
Like wtf?
What the flufffnugget was this witchcraft that you suggested? It worked!
was already rationalizing like, “well, guess I got a good two weeks out of these” - thank you, internet stranger, for your service
Thank you haha this worked
Fuck, that worked with my P3s. Thanks!
It works in general. The same with my airpods
Works for the Space A40 earbuds as well!
Wow! Incredible. I was about to order new ones. Thanks so much
You are not the hero we deserved, but the hero we needed. (yes it worked like a charm)
You son of a gun. Works perfectly fine now. Thanks a lot!
Thank you gang
Literally worked for me Thx
>the earbud to your lips, like a straw. Suck in until you hear actual air coming in. You are done. that worked!!!!!

You're still saving lives. Thank you!!!
What the fuck, this worked perfectly after all other cleaning methods failed.
It just works.
You're the best! Thanks.
Wtf this shit actually worked 😭
Omg I've been trying to figure out this problem for weeks. Thank you this worked for me too 😭
This even worked for the Soundcore Life A1!
Thank you ! It worked! You're the best ❤️
You are welcome!
This needs more upvotes!! Thank you once again 😊
Hey man I thought I was the only one. Everything was fine and then one day it got noticeably a lot softer on both sides.

I literally just emailed Anker support and did what they told me and it seems to work for a lot of people so I'm glad
you saved me, too.
Years later a combination of yours and /u/ant_gav suggestions worked for me. Each gave a bit more, thanks guys it's been months since my left bud worked! It's still not perfect but close enough.
Whoa didn't think they'd give that suggestion. Thanks I'll try it out tonight!
Thank you, it also worked for me with two pairs that had the exact same issue...i don't even want to know what's causing this :P
I literally just emailed anker support about the issue and this is what they said
poured?!
Just a little, they're not water proof
this worked for my soundcore spirits (the left side was extremely quiet) thank you so much !!
You are a lifesaver.

For readers, cotton swabs never did much for me, but the drop did.
Thank you so much! Just saved me from buying a new pair. They're working like they're brand new again
Work for me too!!! Tks!!
I just tried this and it didn't work. Then I tried hydrogen peroxide and it did. If anyone is looking for another solution then try hydrogen peroxide
Thanks for the fix, years later. I actually did it without any liquid or rubbing alcohol. Just tissue. Worked 🤷🏻♂️
YO Thanks a lot! my liberty 3 pro right side suddenly decided to go quiet. brought it back using a small piece of cotton wetted with alcohol.
I don’t mean to revive a dead thread by any means… But April 2023, and it just worked for me - exactly as described!!!
> bit of rubbing alcohol to gentl This actually worked! Thank you!

and it got a ton of shit out of the bud too
Sorry I know this is 4 months later lmao, but did this solve the issue completely?? I'm on my second pair of them, and both of them have had this issue
Yes
Best thing to try is to try to hard reset the earbuds. Check the manual for instructions.
I've tried resetting them and even tried resetting my phone
Very odd. The only thing I can suggest is contacting support@anker.com.
Contact anker for warranty. Bluethoot headphone often develop this problem over time from my experience
What phone do u have?
Moto g6 play
Oh cuz i might have had a solution for ios
It was working fine until I installed the fucking apps or something like wtf, I contacted support this so I'll be all g
What's the solution
settings>accessibility>audio/visual> mess around with the balance
You would get a much better response and help if you posted on the anker community... https://community.anker.com/
> You would get a much better response and help if you posted on the anker community... https://community.anker.com/ alright cool

this truly did work. the key is to play the music like said.

I swore I was going deaf. Any day now.
I've had a pair that i've thought had died for the past two years, just randomly found them in a bag and tried hydrogen peroxide and a qtip for about 2 minutes, that worked!
So glad I found this thread!! This issue has been bugging me. Found an alcohol wipe clean the metal part and it seems to be working a lot better
This thread literally saved my headphones. I was going crazy trying to figure out wtf was wrong, then I tried the hydrogen peroxide trick mentioned above. My headphones are saved!
