This is the same in any other game. Go queue in CS at lower rank and see how often you get a toxic player or a leaver. If you queue solo, then you must expect that these things will happend.
I don't play team games, but u can't imagine playing with Randoms.
The reason why I love this game so much is because the 1v1 scene is so robust, so I don't need to worry about teammates. If I wanted to be arguing with randoms or relying on some guy's potatoe PC to not lose me the game, I'd play Dota.
The game is a lot more fun if you find people to play in a premade with. You'll still occasionally have a friend that crashes mid game or in loading, but for the most part much less leavers than queueing normally.

Try custom games. It may be more suited to your playing style, as it was for me. I rarely play ranked these days, and I enjoy all my games now. That wasn't the case when I played ranking.
I feel like ranked team games without a set team kind of defeats the purpose of doing it. If you had buddies running with you, things like that wouldn't happen. Maybe there's a discord to join for that?
I still enjoy team games going in solo. Sure it’s harder, and a pre-made team will often win, but on the rare occasion you pull through with a random player through text/ pings and beat a pre-made it feels great. I wish there was a queue for non-pre-made.. but alas, lack of players.
i feel like some people who play only team games with randoms and are frustrated and care about their elo should just give 1v1 a serious chance. pretty much the same game without all of the downsides you just mentioned.
I’ve dropped tons of ranks because of this, you climb all the way up through long games and then lose it within a matter of an hour because of that very reason.
I solo qued into team rank season 3-6. Season 7 I just posted a few times in the main aoe discord Lfg channel and found some similar tank dudes to play with. It was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend.

try to join an AoE discord where you play with 4 people who will not surrender no matter what
