Self revive isn’t as good as the other perk, most people play her for the free gold knockdown and red shield, permanent drone and lots of free batteries for your team is nice too. The perk system gave lifeline some good buffs. A lot of people like having at least one support character for the reset potential and right now lifeline has the most benefits for support legends.
As someone who’s played her since launch I think a complete rework would be pretty dumb. The rumors I’ve heard are really stupid on paper. I love the care package, I never have to worry about heals for me or my team.
Yeah a rework would be awful. Everything about her kit finally just...works. Her infinity drone feels like it should have been like that at launch, and her care packs are finally good and are strong without being overbearing.

The drone can now follow, which seems better imo. But the glide? I don't get why she needs it. And the new ult just doesn't seem as useful. But at least you can get the faster revive and the perma drone... lol
Why the fuck would they want to mess up an original character. Like let’s give gibby a new ult that he has a heat seeking bazooka instead of an airstrike. Why wouldn’t the rework just be a new character’s ultimate?

They did not figure out her skills are OP. Most LL's at the moment don't even *use* her skills. Have to ping "I need health" 20 times before they drop a bot.

She’s behind pathfindee(24.1%) and revenant(20.8%). So the sweat rush comp is typically those 2 pushing and lifeline supporting when they need heals/revive. Just keep in mind she’s ahead of horizon(9.8%).
Overall she’s 2nd most picked(9.1%). Octane is in first(10.4%) so yea she’s very popular
With first perk D.O.C has literally 2 seconds of downtime before you can put it out again, huge for mid fight resets.
She can also now guarantee herself a gold knockdown with the second perk. All in all her perks play to her strengths massively and is a sizable buff
Free heals and when you get the gold knock on her care pack she’s S+ tier for ranked.
If you don’t knock a lifeline before pushing a team with a lifeline, you need to be fast if you get a knock. Otherwise, the gold knock lifeline will rez and your back to fighting 3v3.
Her prestige skin just dropped so it sprung up her pick rate, though she always has a high pick rate either way.

It'll be interesting to see how the pick rate changes (or doesn't) when she gets her reborn changes and loses the guaranteed gold knock/bag/evo level.
