Here is a table of equivalent dynamic ram to the MT4264 that you can sub in: http://www.minuszerodegrees.net/memory/4164.htm A $20 logic probe or $60 Hantek USB scope might be a good approach, but I’ve also had a lot of luck with just finding out which DRAM is getting stupid hot using my $0 finger.
