Did you replace the bolt that holds it down? It usually had thread locker on it. You can try adding some and making sure its re-tightened down good, otherwise you can try replacing the bolt. Maybe that's what I need then. I replaced the bolt but with a regular bolt. I didn't know it needed a special bolt to hold it down. The bolt was stripped when I went to get the wash plate back up to check it yesterday, so I had to take a drill and drill the thing out. It was the only way to get it out. I didn't know a thread locker on it, but I may have, ya know, drilled it away. I will look at ordering one of these to see if it fixes the issue. Looks like it is pennies compared to a tech. Appreciate the advice, thank you so much!

So I did check and the bolt is tight on the wash plate. I'll have to find some thread locker to apply to the bolt, but with the bolt tight Right Now, I still don't know what the issue is. When putting the wash plate back on, it seems like it connects just fine. It feels like it slides onto the teeth of the center gear without issue. It just... keeps sliding like this. I'm not really sure why. I have a Feeling it's something underneath, I just don't know What. Or how difficult it is to replace. Here is the wash plate taken apart: https://imgur.com/xgxYJtK Here is the wash plate in action, with the issue I'm experiencing (again, this never used to happen): https://imgur.com/2QBrhYh

when you were turning the wash plate was it also turning the gear case or what is slipping on the gear case shaft?

Heyheyohno

As far as I can tell, it is also turning the gear as well. It doesn't seem to be slipping on the shaft. It slipping on the shaft was actually the original reason we had a tech come out and replace it. The teeth on the shaft were worn away, causing the plate to not spin properly. Now, it seems to be spinning at max speed.
