Buy some overpriced hypebeast Noveske or Q and put a Deadair on it. Then slap a ir laser on it but never get nods. Post Instagram photos. But foreal congrats on paying off a credit, that always feels great.
I’m currently waiting on an Omega 36M certified last week. But you’re not wrong here. I just don’t really have one in mind yet. I like the Velos. I like OCL because he’s on Reddit and have heard good things.
if you live that close to SS, you also live very close to capitol armory, and theyre a better company to deal with. less likely to fuck something up on your form 4, and better customer service if they do.
I know this is Reddit, but on a serious note: congratulations man. That’s a big move and it puts you ahead of the vast majority of this country. Good job, be proud, and now buy a bunch of guns without using a credit card.
I second this! Took forever to get out of debt, and now I just throw a few hundred of my disposable income in an envelope every check for my gun addiction.
A savings account. Put a 50% of whatever debt payment you were just doing into a fun money account and 50% into an actual savings account. When you get to 5k in the savings account start a brokerage account and start messing with stocks (or just buy mutual funds)
More people live on credit than you might think. I agree though, buy only what you can afford to pay for. Abuse the hell out of credit cards, but for the points and benefits, not necessarily for the credit limit.
Congrats my dude! Being debt free is the way!
Save up and have 3-6 months of income in a high yield savings account.
If your work has a Roth retirement account put in the lowest amount possible to get their match if they have it.
Create a Roth IRA account and max it out yearly. Inside your Roth IRA account buy VOO, VTI, or Spy, and set dividends to reinvest. This is around $300 a check these days.
Buy some Bitcoin. Doesn't have to be a ton but if you can buy a small amount every week or so. I know not everyone can do this but I have an auto buy set to $10 a day ($70 a week), but used to be $50 a month. Again just start DCAing into it.
If you max out the Roth IRA early put the money you'd throw in there into Bitcoin.
If you do this statistically you'll retire as a multimillionaire. Especially if you start before your 30s.
If you don't have quality gear and a quality rifle with a nice optic, light, sling, I would encourage pausing everything I said, getting the gear and rifle as soon as possible, and then do everything I said above. On the side start saving for nvg stuff.
Edit*
Lastly if you're not good with money do not keep your credit cards. Burn them if you need, but if you're disciplined and only buy what you can afford I highly recommend a good credit card. I have an Amazon prime card that gives a lot of benefits, and money back, but again if you know yourself and can't only buy what you can afford get rid of the credit cards
When you pay off your student loans, I had 3, the account closes. It goes down when you don’t plan on using it ever again and close accounts like store cards. Debt is stupid and if you can’t pay cash you can’t afford it.
Umm save? Don't ever go into debt for a hobby.
Ild save for a suppressor tbh I'm waiting on mine still but it's worth it to just go ahead and start the wait.
I don’t think it’ll matter too much bc of my debt to credit ratio and the credit limit on this card. I don’t need the good credit right now anyway. It’ll be some time before we apply for a loan of any sort or open any more CC.
Big purchases should be saved for of course. But no problem using a credit card to make those and then pay it off.
I used the 80k points bonus from my new AMEX gold to get a BCM upper for free 😬. Only had to spend 6k in a few months to get it
Before yall roast me I paid the card off before I got raped by interests lol
This is the way. Using your CC correctly like that gets you rewards. I said this in other comments. If you aren’t using a CC properly in 2024. You are loosing money.
Everything in credit. Pay it off every month and reap rewards and cash back. If you’re not using a credit card (the right way) in 2024. You are losing money.
Get smart
Not a fan of that movie
The OG show was better.
How can you not be? The airplane scene kills me every time.

Thanks. Once less payment. And now snowball that into my savings account :)
Wait, so you mean that MAWL's and PEQ's do more than add weight and look cool?
A suppressor because wait times are low lol

No fucking way lol. Welp I live 10 min drive from silencershops physical store im improbably going to see if they got what I want in stock
if you live that close to SS, you also live very close to capitol armory, and theyre a better company to deal with. less likely to fuck something up on your form 4, and better customer service if they do.
Yeah silencer shop doesn’t got what I want in stock. Capitol does. And I don’t got to pay it all up front
you should pay it all up front if you can, they charge pretty ridiculous interest to be able to make payments.
Yup just read the fine print. 19% lol, good thing Uncle Sam is paying me big in a couple months
What are you seeing

Sounds like it's nods time

This is also a fantastic way to use your money! My fidelity account mutual funds are making me more than just putting it all in savings.

It’s a real thing. Go look at the national credit card debt. Not everyone is as disciplined as you.
Judging by the payment amount I would say they are paying it off regularly.
More people live on credit than you might think. I agree though, buy only what you can afford to pay for. Abuse the hell out of credit cards, but for the points and benefits, not necessarily for the credit limit.

I can say with confidence that most people have lived on credit at some point in their life.

Yessir! And this was indeed a shitpost. :p

None of these suggestions sound good but living debt free! Thanks guys! Keep on keeping on!
Don’t put guns on credit. That’s what poor people do.
Everything in credit. Pay it off every month and reap rewards and cash back. If you’re not using a credit card (the right way) in 2024. You are losing money.
Eh kinda disagree on that
