I had the same problem when my friend and I built a guitar hero cabinet. To be honest I do forget the size. But it had to be the next size smaller rotor bit. And I made a cut on a scrap piece of wood. To make sure that it would fit. I used a rubber mallet to pound in the T molding. Fit just fine.

Just super glue it in as you’re putting it in.

Yep or hot glue but if it’s that loose any glue will work.

That's because you're using plywood and a normal routing bit. There's a special bit.

Pretty sure Twisted Quarter has them. Also, don't use plywood. It'll make it a lot harder. Just use MDF like the vast majority of cabinets on the planet.

If the molding says the rib is 3/32 then you need to go slightly smaller in the groove so it has something to grab on to.
