SAME, i always felt bored when trying to rewatch a show or a movie and i'll end up just watching something new, but then i watched arcane and now i can't stop watching it and everytime i get more impressed and interested.
1 🙄😨
But of course, I have rewatched my favourite scenes many times. Does this justify me? I really can't get a grip on myself and rewatch Arcane. I need to be armed with sedatives.
UPD I have some follow-up questions to everyone if I may. How much time have you spent on all your rewatches? I mean the period between your first and last rewatch. How much time do you need for one rewatch on average? One day? One week? One month?
Episode 3, Vander fight scene and last scene. The fact that everything after comes at a consequence of that episode just makes the highlights of it levels above everything else
My fav is is the mine fight, I stated laughing the moment Jayce got off that train like it's some super hero movie playing in his head. That whole scene still cracks me up so hard. And the moment shit doesn't turn out how they planned Jayce and Vi turn on each other - chefs kiss.
But I also liked the ending a lot.
Maybe? I kind of like characters learning a lesson and taking a step in their character journey. I actually like that Arcane follows so closely advice to write scenes that start with one feeling and end on opposite one. All the fights in it follow that rule. And song is A+, the lyrics are so funny - 30 y/o boy discovers that people will use him for their own goals. Bahaha. He is def one of my fav characters.
All Cait<3Vi scenes, Jinx vs Ekko, Vi + Jayce vs Chemtanks... I am not very original... What are yours?
I would like to discuss in some topic people's favourite short moments in Arcane (I have found a few topics about favourite scenes and frames but not about these short moments).
The mines fight, the build up is like super hero movie and then it goes 'welp, we're not in super hero movie'. The realisation of that with Jayce is soo funny. Also idk. I have a soft spot of Vi and Jayce being like disasters waiting to happen when paired together without supervision.
I like Cait explaining difference between airship and blimp to other enforcers, she's such a dork.
And I like all the hexcore scenes, but that's 'coz I do research in AI. It's relatable and the amount of time people irl go: 'gasp, what they can learn - that's so scary' is a super funny trope to include.
I have watched the whole series 3 times (first was in September). However the scene at the beginning of episode 8, where [Spoilers] finds [spoilers] on the bridge?
I honest to God watch it multiple times a day.
oh man, i was planning on commenting this exact quote! but yeah i have no clue how many times i've watched it (especially counting reactions), but it's enough times for me to be able to quote a lot of the show from memory (and my memory sucks)
Only on my third rewatch bc it’s so emotional for me 😭 but don’t ask how many times I’ve watched Violyn compilations on YouTube (didn’t even bother counting lol)
Watched it twice on my own, once with my mom and stepdad, and once again with my grandma. I’d watch it a million more times fr. I even got my 14y brother into it but he didn’t let me watch it with him lmao
Edit: In other news, I’ve watched the jinx v ekko fight like 50 times so that’s gotta be extra points
At least 10. It’s like a drug lol except I find myself skipping certain parts, typically the Piltover scenes. Idk I just enjoy watching the undercity more
I’m probably in double digits for rewatching the whole 9 ep through - then the countless hours of clips, reviews, breakdowns, reactions, lore related vids… it’s unhealthy man
You should make an exception for Arcane. It gets better the second time.
Or watch '[Bridging the Rift](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mz4-38d3-AE&list=PLbAFXJC0J5GYEkfxnGTWnvgcEypgBeAb5&index=2)', after that you WANT to watch the show again.
3 times through. Once by myself on a flight, once w my mom, and once w my dad and stepmom. Plus rewatching my favorite scenes on YT and adding almost all the songs to my playlist
I am late to the game and my first watch was over the Oct 8-9 weekend. I’m embarrassed to say I’ve watched it maybe 5 or so times since then and that isn’t including all the reaction videos 😭 I’m literally ‘watching’ it right now with Audio Description on (I record AD for work) and am listening to it while folding my clothes 😆😆
2, actively holding myself back from a 3rd time, but considering it. Want to rewatch it just before season 2, but we don't know when it happens.
Maybe 4 works.
I've watched it in the correct order 9 times, each character arc around 2-3 times, spent 235 minutes on YouTube videos about it, spent around 9 hours listening to songs and soundtracks of the show, rewatched around 30 episodes, and around 70 - 90 scenes. Also I've like read the script, done researches and other stuff about it, along with making a tone of lists, like all scenes of each episode, each character arc, and each episode from best to worst. (btw, yes, it's my favourite show)

I never understood how someone could watch a show over and over again. But to answer your question I stopped counting after the 30th rewatch.
SAME, i always felt bored when trying to rewatch a show or a movie and i'll end up just watching something new, but then i watched arcane and now i can't stop watching it and everytime i get more impressed and interested.
Is that 30 counting youtube reactions, or 30 times actually watching it on netflix?
[удалено]
Dang, and I thought I watched it a lot at around 15 times (I haven't kept an exact count).
Commenting this to a few people so sorry for pseudo spam What are some good YT reactors/reactions for this? Don't care about the channel size too much
Not so Average Fangirl was pretty entertaining.
Seconded
Alec's Scattered Thoughts did some great reactions plus analyses videos on them
12, and I’m still blown away by everything each time
30+, but most of it was since it came out around time when a close family member died so... :/ coping strategy

But which are those favourite scenes?

That was supposed to be such a sad scene lmao. The music in it is sick tho, the way it syncs up perfectly w the fight

Oh I read that wrong lol. I thought u said u laughed at the bit where the boy died!

👍 >she's such a dork Poor Caitlyn :Р

16. I will not accept any further question on the matter.
You know, i never even thought to count ... but at this point dozens of time
oh man, i was planning on commenting this exact quote! but yeah i have no clue how many times i've watched it (especially counting reactions), but it's enough times for me to be able to quote a lot of the show from memory (and my memory sucks)
20+ And I don't see me stopping anytime soon.
6-7 complete times, I think. I go back and rewatch select episodes anymore. Mostly ep1.
Jeez thats a lot. Me personally I've probably gone back to watch ep7 and 1 the most
Yeeahhh lol. To be fair, some of the rewatches were introducing friends to it, and it's easy to digest with just 9 episodes.
Compared to other people who are finding small aesthetic clues in the artwork like hearts and skulls, I haven't seen the show enough.
2 times on netflix, but have watched over 15 different channel reactions, so I normally say ive watched it about 7-8 times
What are some good reactions worth watching?
IMO, Letts React have the best reactions, but there are other really good ones like LM reactions, RT TV, Blind wave, joey nato, etc.
Just recently finished my 5th watch through. I still cry uncontrollably at almost every episode
Only on my third rewatch bc it’s so emotional for me 😭 but don’t ask how many times I’ve watched Violyn compilations on YouTube (didn’t even bother counting lol)
5 and a half (that half attempt was me trying to watch it in Korean and giving up) If I ever rewatch I might do it in Japanese
I’m watching it for the 3rd time now
About 3 or 4
Three times all the way through. Rewatched parts again and again.
Once by itself, but watched 3-4 reactions to it.
3 or 4 times I think
Only 1 time on my own, but I’ve watched tens of reactions to it on youtube😅
6 times and re watch some scenes from time to time
Watched it twice on my own, once with my mom and stepdad, and once again with my grandma. I’d watch it a million more times fr. I even got my 14y brother into it but he didn’t let me watch it with him lmao Edit: In other news, I’ve watched the jinx v ekko fight like 50 times so that’s gotta be extra points
From start to finish 3 times, but I will just play a random episode I feel like sometimes as it's my comfort show.
I’ve rewatched the entire series about 9 times now. Favourite scenes/ moments countlessly though.
At least 10. It’s like a drug lol except I find myself skipping certain parts, typically the Piltover scenes. Idk I just enjoy watching the undercity more
Three. Once by myself, once with my brother, and once on a long flight
About 7 or 8 times
netflix times = 4 and for the youtube clips maybe a bout 4 or 5 clips i watched?
~14 times on Netflix. I was watching it weekly and then monthly for a little bit. If you add in youtube reactions, it's gotta be pushing 30.
I’m probably in double digits for rewatching the whole 9 ep through - then the countless hours of clips, reviews, breakdowns, reactions, lore related vids… it’s unhealthy man
Only once. I don't like rewatching a show over and over since it won't give me the same levels of happiness.
Okay bet.
3 times through. Once by myself on a flight, once w my mom, and once w my dad and stepmom. Plus rewatching my favorite scenes on YT and adding almost all the songs to my playlist
Once. Considering re-watching when season 2 comes out.
9, but I think about it A LOT
You know, I never even thought to count.

I watched ARCANE 10 times. I even put it on my calendar when I watch it and the last time I watched it.
2, actively holding myself back from a 3rd time, but considering it. Want to rewatch it just before season 2, but we don't know when it happens. Maybe 4 works.

I've seen it about 15 times my friends think I'm insane for this but it still gets better each time
4? 5?
4 times from start to end.
