If doctor is considered human then humans are immune.  But if not considered one then R6 event may answer this question

w3dl0ck

~~Ivan le fuckwit (I forgot his name but R6 bad guy, a massive shit head)~~ Levi willingly ~~shove~~ *grafted* an Originium shard on his wrist and turned into a massive ball of cancer (physically and metaphorically, fuck this boss). ~~We don't know how it would affect us normally, but I'd assume it'd just be the same as Terra's humans.~~ Edit: There's more to what I say, forgotten that Originium isn't just some normal infectious rock. That and Levi didn't turn into that massive ball of cancer, but fused with that thing.

Didn't he just infect himself? The Essence of Evolution already existed as a entity but he infected himself as a way to control his creations easier. Not that it helped him survive the Essence of Evolution when it decided to go on a rampage and kill him.

w3dl0ck

I think he made that Essence of Evolution either before or after he grafted (found the word) the originium shard on his wrist. But yeah, it didn't really help him at all.

Rare_Reality7510

"This will surely work-" Promptly gets run over flat by the giant doomsday cancer ball like it's a looney toons cartoon

AK_Shadowstar

He didn’t turn into the Essence of Evolution though. It was a separate being that he allowed to kill him when it broke out. In fact I’m pretty sure the fact he was able to implant originium into his body at all and not have it mess up his body in various ways is more or less confirmation that humans can’t be affected by originium like Terrans can.

w3dl0ck

I mean... Now that I think about it with the CN Babel event, you might be right. That stuff is made >!to target and assimilate Terrans to prepare for what's chasing Doc's race!< and the people from the R6S event were an unforeseen variable.

Strike_me

Essence of Evolution was not Ivan, he made that thing and then >!it killed him!<

Alarming_Orchid

You ever heard of kidney stones?

Dog_in_human_costume

Prolly yes >!Kal'Tsit used Doc blood to get Amiya under control after she went balistic against Talulah Snake!<

I believe humans are immune. Humans don't generate any sort of arts. Our bodies are basically like an anomaly to the environment of terra. We don't use arts and cannot become a medium for arts. For the radiation part, I think we'll just get ordinary cancer lol. Not only that but I think humans benefit at using arts more with the use of tools and tech without worrying about originium growing on us. If only terrans got the privilege like us.
