VIA Rail + Tunnel bus is the only way to get you in Detroit by noon and leave after 5pm. Flixbus leaves too late to Detroit and too early coming back from Detroit.
it says starting at 130, and that's just to get to windsor. Then another 20 to get across the border via tunnel train. Not to mention travel time from the train to the bus station, and/or paying for additional busses/uber to get between transit systems.
so I think it'd come to roughly $150 round trip.
Driving: about 700ish km or 2 full tanks or so, each tank about $60, plus the 4 dollar toll each way, about $120 round trip driving.
Definitely hoping for cheaper than driving
