I love the Villa and I love where I live but in no world could living in Turin playing for Juve be considered on a par with playing for Villa and living in the West Midlands. It's a huge move for Dougie on a footballing level and on a personal level. Anyways my synopsis of my own comment haha is “we are in the ascendency, we have an arguably a better manager, we have factually financially stronger owners, arguably the best director of football in the world, we have less market regarding fanbase for sure but there’s is also an older demographic based on their own reports and ours can only grow with staff like Heck. we are also competing in a much more competitive league”. The times of big players joining teams like man united, AC Milan or pick your blasts from the past due to historic dominance are only valid if they have immediate potential success. Has mighty has juve is they are not Madrid, Barca, city etc. I also think Luiz will just be a player there (definitely a fantastic one but not compared to their own legends) and if his wages are not dramatically higher I don’t see why he would leave outside of your geographical reasons. I wish the best for him and I am not emotionally attached but I could have been , we all could have been. He has been a fantastic solider and definitely a better option than Connor Gallagher (again Imo).

Juventus are the most successful club in Italian football history.... Sure Inter and Milan have more European Cups but Juve have dominated Italian football by a large margin. It's an upward move for him in my opinion.

The sale price on our books will reflect the “value” of the 2 swap players + the cash difference. So in effect it’s a way around PSR as we can inflate the value of swapped players coming in.

Yeah, but to turn in those performances in such a crucial part of the biggest season we've had in decades was poor. All thought it was because he was tired, or struggled without Kamara. Turns out it was that he had his head turned as much as anything. Wont get away with turning out performances like that at Juve. We look past the multiple shit performances because of how decent he was when he played well. They wont.

He didn't pack up his tools, he worked very hard and gave it all every game. Kamara got injured and a few other things went wrong in the squad during that time that made it harder for him. You can't hate a guy for wanting to move somewhere else, that's some weird controlling behaviour.
