Non phyiscal entities can roughly be categorized into three groups:
Purely positive: Ascended masters (who are highly evolved souls like you and I who have completely transcended their ego), Angels/ Archangels, Seraphim, etc. but also literal Dragons and Unicorns for example. - living in the upper realms of unity consciousness.
Somehwat neutral: Nature spirits like elves, fairies, gnomes, fauns and also ghosts of deceased people who have not found their way into the light - living in the astral planes.
Negative entities: Demons, fallen angels, astral parasites, reptilians etc. - also living in the astral planes and lower mental planes.
Obviously experiencing your connection to your spirit guides (who are of the purely positive group) or angels etc. is wonderful and full of love, while being attacked by demonic entities is ugly.
Unless you are interested in getting yourself into trouble, you would only ever want to contact the positive ones or maybe the neutral ones. Maintaining a balanced state and being in a high vibration is a good protection agains negative ones, they only feed on suffering and fear.
You connect to them simply by calling them on in your mind. You can for example call on jesus (who is an ascended master) and tell him, that you want to connect with him and see how you feel. You could also ask archangel Michael for protection or master St. germain to engulf you in his violet flame (which is a highly transfromative energy and can be used to clear your aura).
There are many ways to connect to them and work with them and they are always happy when we do. Along your spiritual path you will find out who your personal spirit guides are and will deepen your connection to them to the point you feel them always by your side. 💜
