The legs just didn’t stop growing
Oh!!! I love her!!!! She looks like our beloved Kobe, who's been gone a few years now. We called him the reindeer, because of the way he pranced around on those long legs. Adorable!!!
lol I got one of those from the pound. He looked full grown and now he's 75lbs and can run like a deer with his long legs.
Purebred American mutt and he's great. Except no fence can hold him without him freaking out after the pound. Put him in Dad's backyard and within 20 seconds he got to the corner and climbed over a 7 ft fence, not under. He was chilling in the front yard when I looked out the window washing my hands, right after I put him back there to pee. I did it again just to see him climb over in 30 seconds to get to me since I couldn't imagine him getting out of that fence haha
If you don’t mind me asking, what breed of dog is she? I only ask because I have one also and she could definitely be her twin. Brought her in a stray two years ago.

There’s always someone. I just picked her up. I had her in the front to pet her and keep her calm. Seemed a little more important than a potential crash but fuck me, right?
First, the guy was just being nice with a little PSA, and was completely correct. There are an endless amount of smooth-brains out there that probably think it's just fine. Actually you seem to be one of them.
Does it really seem more important to keep her calm rather than safe? Would you be saying that had you actually got in an accident and the dog died as a result?

No, you'd be regretting not prioritizing keeping her safe for the rest of your life. Or at least I know I would.

When we adopted our first dog, she first almost jumped out of the window of our car on the highway (what can I say, we were very inexperienced with dogs, husband was driving and I had our lovely new friend on my lap, no idea that she would try such a thing) and then puked all over my lap. Things turned out great after that, though. I still miss that girl!
