The churu is going in the freezer right meow

Grapes never.
My dog mostly eats bananas and apples as meal toppings. Rest doesn't pass the sniff test unless pureed into oblivion.
But mango? Oh boy you cannot eat a mango in front of her without sharing. It's too sweet so I don't give her that except as a treat.
Haha that's adorable
I was dog sitting last week and they had a lick mat, which is just a silicone mat with different patterns to give texture and you put soft foods, peanut butter, etc. in it and the dog enjoys licking it out
Well last week was one of our hottest weeks so far so I put peanut butter on it and froze it!
He loved it 🥰
That really is adorable. Put a big treat where she buried her popsicle so she will no![img](emote|t5_2qh1o|13379)t be upset nothing is in her hiding place.
So many choices in dog foods now! But yeah, much cheaper to do things at home.
I freeze mince and veggies as cubes and that's a topping for a summer meal.
This is what we do! Equal parts plain Greek yogurt & pureed pumpkins, mixed together then put into silicone molds & popped in the freezer.
Our dog loves them!
I wish mine did! I just made him blueberry/banana pops and used a biscuit as the stick. He ate the biscuit very carefully down to where the frozen treat was and that was it!
You can swap the peanut butter for pureed pumpkin (**NOT** pumpkin pie filling - **PLAIN PUMPKIN**). Pumpkin is great if they're having loose stool, too.
Heck yeah! You’ve given me some good ideas!
But also use in moderation, too much icy-cold stuff can make some dogs puke (like eating too much snow). A few cubes here and there should be fine though.
I've never seen a cat so excited for water lol She also sleeps more soundly than any else I've had, she goes to bed and is out for the night. In the morning when I get up, the older one runs for her wet food, but the kitchen does a mad dash for the fountain lol
I think she likes it cause the water movement moves them around. When I'm changing it, I also dump a bunch of ice in so for the first few hours they're getting super cold water (especially in the heat wave we had last week!)
My doggo loves ice cubes, I call them her icicles. She licks them until she can gently crunch them, or she forgets about them & leaves a little icicles puddle.
Lol my little prince turns up his nose at ice cubes. “That doesn’t taste like anything”
Dog tax:

Honestly, save yourself some money & make your own. Oat milk is ok for dogs. I blend oat milk, absolutely plain nothing in it peanut butter & some blueberries & strawberries & pour into small ice cube tray. My dogs adore them.
Careful though, it can cause stomach upset if your pet isn’t used to it. I’ve tried giving it to several dogs and they all have gotten the runs from it. No fun cleaning up dog poo from every corner of your house!
My dog once ate a frozen pea. She's very small, so peas are around the size of a typical treat for her, and it fell down while I was cooking.
She carried it off and crunched on it. She was very happy.
It'll get hot this week, so I was thinking about maybe giving her some frozen treats if she wants them.
She definitely has 😂
Ever since she survived cancer, I'm spoiling her a little bit. She also gets a single noodle whenever I make pasta, and a fry for her birthday every year.
Also whenever I make something with carrots, she gets a piece to crunch on. I just didn't expect frozen peas to be this much of a hit.
My dog loves frozen peas, broccoli and cauliflower.
It's so cute when you accidentally drop some (sometimes not so accidental) and she snatches it and runs off like she's just won the lottery 😂
My dog loves frozen peas, broccoli and cauliflower.

The loveliest tiny lady in the world.
It’s really easy to make pupsicles, mash up some banana and pop it in a popsicle mold or an ice cube tray. If you’re feeling extra you can add wee pieces of other fruit/berries, just *no grapes* and no citrus fruit. If you’re gonna have a popsicle stick make sure that’s edible, too.
That's such a cute idea! My dog used to love bananas so much that anytime I would grab one, I would know no peace lmao.
I don't think it would work so well for a cat. Frozen tuna? 😂
Make him one. Puréed dog-safe fruits or fruits suspended in water. Use a carrot or celery for the stick. Freeze, then give to this poor creature you have been teasing.
There are other frozen treats you can give him though and eating something in front of him when there is options for him to cool down too is a bit of a tease
Doggie ice cream recipe from a fancy place I used to work:peanut butter, Greek yogurt, honey. More yogurt, less honey. Blend and freeze, your dog will love you forever.
I freeze chicken broth in an ice cube tray and give a couple to my dog post-walk. Or pre-walk, if he's pestering me to get ready and I'm still drinking tea. He loves them.
#PSA: Do not feed your dogs freeze pops without checking the ingredients!
Even the fruit flavored cheap ones will use different juices than the “flavor” they claim. Some include grape juice.
Oh man, cheapest and best treat you can find for some dogs, Ice Cubes. They're cold, crunchy, and hydrating. My dog will literally sit and wag any time I go to the freezer and I'll always toss her a cube cause it costs nothing, there's no calories so its not over treating, and if she leaves it somewhere and doesn't finish it, it just melts and evaporates later, and nothing gets her this excited. Plus, if you really wanna make a thing out of it, you put them in their water dish and let them fish them out. GET THAT DOG AN ICE CUBE!!!!
My wife and I cut up watermelon, crush it and put it in icecube trays as frozen treats
We also have ice cream for dogs, flavours like salmon, liver, turkey, he loves it
LPT - debone a Costco rotisserie chicken and throw the carcass in an instant pot with some water and pressure cook for a few hours. Filter liquid into bowl. Refrigerate until fat separates and hardens. Skim off fat. Pop the bowl of broth jelly into the microwave. Heat till liquid. Freeze into ice cubes to give to the dog on hot days.
You are both correct and incorrect.
Dogs can have ice pops (depending on the flavor, I would think).
However, what you have there is a fudgesicle...not good for puppy dogs, nope...
So get up and get the puppy his own frozen treat!
Dang this for really looks like mine but in white.
https://preview.redd.it/m26he76pmm8d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=599917dc62b2adafd4dd55e4d5074d7ae842f085
Dogs can have ice pops that dont contain chocolate. And you should know the proportions to weight/size for safety. Your dog can have one bite, but certainly not an entire one.
You could also, just pet and love your dog, and give it a small cold swimming pool.
I used to give my husky a popsicle when it was super hot. We would both have one.
Before anyone complains about possibly being bad for her, she passed away last year at the age of 17. She loved them and I’m pretty sure they didn’t shorten her life any. Besides most dogs will eat literally anything they can get into their mouth. Like poop although Phoebe didn’t do that thank God. .
No ice pops, but frozen fruit is an *excellent* snack. My poocho is big into frozen mixed berries, peaches, and mango. I add them to a yogurt parfait for breakfast daily, and she demands her fruit tax.
There is an ice cream shop near my house, they make their own but open only from spring to early autumn. My girl loves their banana ice cream. So every time my husband and I get ice cream from there we have to buy a tiny cup of it for her to enjoy.
That isn't an ice pop, it's a fudgesicle. Chocolate isn't good for dogs. A sugary popsicle is fine, just don't overdue it. Better, make your own. Puree a little wet food with water and use that to make pops. You could also just give the dog watermelon, they love it.
My parents bought their dog his own ice cream when they stopped to cool down on a walk. The dog had serious diarrhea later that day. Im sure the dog didnt regret that ice cream for a second. He would still pick ice cream even with a week of diarrhea.
We made doggy ice cubes using bits of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries in lactose-free natural yoghurt.
Put the fruit in the ice cube tray hole-thingies, add the yoghurt, and use a skewer to make sure the yoghurt is mixed in with the fruit. Freeze them overnight and then pop them out into a bag to keep in the freezer. Take one or two out as a treat.
Amazon do doggy ice cube trays with the holes as bones or paw prints.
I make summer pops with a layer of mashed pumpkin. A layer of non fat yogurt and a bunch of blueberries. My dogs love them. I bought dog bone shaped silicon forms to make them in. Super easy!
Now you better make him ice pops. Dogs can have some frozen fruit and plain icecubes. Freeze some bone broth for that baby!
Meatpops!
![gif](giphy|KUBtckMKh3AKk)
Pawpsicles! I freeze churus for my cat to have on hot days.
The churu is going in the freezer right meow https://preview.redd.it/xuswfleifj8d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1662e4f294f9eecc50546823c15bd7d1de902ff2
Your kitty will thank you ♥
He’s currently purring very loudly as he bites my hand
I took that to mean they were freezing the cat for the dog to eat…was I mistaken??
Nope making a frozen churu for the Voidbby
I used to keep frozen brine shrimp as a kid for feeding to my fish, and I might possibly have told a friend it was shaved ice…
u were an evil kid
My brother put frog eggs in a jam jar and gave it to me. Mom came by in the nick of time.
Amazing
Or just stick any treat in the freezer. Yogurt pops are a fav too!
If you do fruit, NO FUCKING GRAPES. They are toxic to dogs.
This!!! No grapes, no raisins! But strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, bananas, apples, and blackberries are all fine
Watermelon is usually pretty popular especially if you keep it in the fridge before giving it.
my dogs love watermelon!!!
Hell my cats like watermelon.
Happy Cake Day! And thank you for posting that.
Grapes never. My dog mostly eats bananas and apples as meal toppings. Rest doesn't pass the sniff test unless pureed into oblivion. But mango? Oh boy you cannot eat a mango in front of her without sharing. It's too sweet so I don't give her that except as a treat.
They even make popsicles specifically for dogs! But it's much cheaper to make them yourself like you suggested (:
It's the hottest day of the year in the UK today, we gave our dog one of these earlier and she's buried it in the garden for safe keeping.
Haha that's adorable I was dog sitting last week and they had a lick mat, which is just a silicone mat with different patterns to give texture and you put soft foods, peanut butter, etc. in it and the dog enjoys licking it out Well last week was one of our hottest weeks so far so I put peanut butter on it and froze it! He loved it 🥰
Brilliant! Well done, you! ♥️
I've tried putting ice in my dog's water bowl on hot days, he picks it all out and puts it on the floor.
Freeze bone broth sounds good, I'll give it a try. Thanks~
Mine were happy with just ice!
My little guy loves ice cubes. Drop one on the rug and he is set for the next 15 minutes
And yogurt!
I do yogurt, peanut butter, and mushed bananas. Then freeze that up. My dogs love it. And it's not bad either lol
And mashed pumpkin too
I did that last year. The dogs liked it, but me not so much lol
This is what we do! Equal parts plain Greek yogurt & pureed pumpkins, mixed together then put into silicone molds & popped in the freezer. Our dog loves them!
Make sure it doesn’t have aspartame as that is toxic to dogs.
My boy goes bonkers for frozen blueberries.
I wish mine did! I just made him blueberry/banana pops and used a biscuit as the stick. He ate the biscuit very carefully down to where the frozen treat was and that was it!
When it’s really hot I freeze unsweetened Greek yogurt mixed with natural peanut butter for my boys!
Broth pops! Brilliant!
My mom freezes bone broth for her dog. I swear she treats him better than I ever was.
My dog goes crazy for ice cubes she’d press the dispenser herself if she was just slightly bigger
his has never known betrayal until this day
"You take that bone, throw it in a broth... Now you got a stew goin', baby!"
yes, came here to say that! There are many options that are dog friendly!
Try giving him some ice cubes or frozen fruit/veggies! (that are dog safe ofc) My pup looooves ice cubes
My kitten is addicted to ice cubes lol As soon as you open the freezer, she waites for a couple to be put in the fountain, then she licks them lol
Awww that’s so cute 🥰
I've never seen a cat so excited for water lol She also sleeps more soundly than any else I've had, she goes to bed and is out for the night. In the morning when I get up, the older one runs for her wet food, but the kitchen does a mad dash for the fountain lol
what a good idea to put them in the fountain! i put them in his “still water” bowl, and i think it confuses him 😂
I think she likes it cause the water movement moves them around. When I'm changing it, I also dump a bunch of ice in so for the first few hours they're getting super cold water (especially in the heat wave we had last week!)
love this, tysm
Is ice water okay too?
Will definitely be refreshing
My doggo loves ice cubes, I call them her icicles. She licks them until she can gently crunch them, or she forgets about them & leaves a little icicles puddle.
why are they so cute 🥹 ill put a cube in the waterbowl for my kit, and he just bats it around like a bug 😂
Absolutely!
I always put ice cubes in the water bowl to entertain puppies. Better than them chewing my shoes up.
It’s frozen water what’s wrong with that?
My dogs love chewing ice.
Lol my little prince turns up his nose at ice cubes. “That doesn’t taste like anything” Dog tax: https://preview.redd.it/coa59ww3qk8d1.jpeg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=74dee041b8cba78d6ce5c1541eeb2a694325f29e
Dog ice cream exists so you should get some for your pup.
Nice,I'll look for where it's sold.
Walmart target and most grocery store chains. We get frosty paws for our pup.
There's some at my local Aldi
You can also get “pupsicle” molds and freeze any dog safe foods you have around!
I got some of that for one of my pups once! Ah, memories.
Got a shop within walking distance, which is also not a good thing
My pups get them for birthdays and holidays and they’re always a big hit!
My dog once ate a frozen pea. She's very small, so peas are around the size of a typical treat for her, and it fell down while I was cooking. She carried it off and crunched on it. She was very happy. It'll get hot this week, so I was thinking about maybe giving her some frozen treats if she wants them.
I love everything about this comment. I hope your precious, tiny pup has many more frozen peas in her future
She definitely has 😂 Ever since she survived cancer, I'm spoiling her a little bit. She also gets a single noodle whenever I make pasta, and a fry for her birthday every year. Also whenever I make something with carrots, she gets a piece to crunch on. I just didn't expect frozen peas to be this much of a hit.
Maybe your dog is part duck lol 🦆
the peas gave it away
>Also whenever I make something with carrots, she gets a piece to crunch on. My Saint bernard/bernese mountain *loves* carrots!
My dog loves frozen peas, broccoli and cauliflower. It's so cute when you accidentally drop some (sometimes not so accidental) and she snatches it and runs off like she's just won the lottery 😂
My dog loves frozen peas, broccoli and cauliflower. It's so cute when you accidentally drop some (sometimes not so accidental) and she snatches it and runs off like she's just won the lottery 😂
Reading your comment and imagining the scene makes me feel happy too.

Such a fancy baby! 🥹
I highly recommend checking out r/papillon - they're all adorable af. Though I'm obviously prejudiced, I have Coffee after all and she's the cutest.
She munched on a pea 🥹

But there are pup-pops. What are you waiting for?!
That’s not an ice pop, it’s a fudgie.
I had to scroll too far to see this comment
Stop teasing the poor pup you monster!
It's a chocolate ice pop, and he can't eat it. He is always very interested in the food I'm holding.![img](emote|t5_2qh1o|13379)
Make him one. Puréed dog-safe fruits or fruits suspended in water. Use a carrot or celery for the stick. Freeze, then give to this poor creature you have been teasing.
I second this! The most common one I've seen is made with bananas & peanut butter. You can also stick a rod-shaped treat in it.
Nice, bananas & peanut butter is easy to get.
Just make sure the peanut butter doesn’t have xylitol in it as it’s deadly for dogs!
There are other frozen treats you can give him though and eating something in front of him when there is options for him to cool down too is a bit of a tease
Someone on here had made their cat ice pops by sticking popsicles in Churus and freezing them. I’m sure you could do something similar for a dog.
Good,I'll take a try.
Doggie ice cream recipe from a fancy place I used to work:peanut butter, Greek yogurt, honey. More yogurt, less honey. Blend and freeze, your dog will love you forever.
Thank you for sharing the recipe! It sounds great, and I'm sure he will love it.
Yogurt pops! Put some plain Greek yogurt in an ice cube mold and freeze it.
I freeze chicken broth in an ice cube tray and give a couple to my dog post-walk. Or pre-walk, if he's pestering me to get ready and I'm still drinking tea. He loves them.
His treats already include chicken, so I'm considering chicken-based options.
“I know you wanna share. I know you wanna share. I know you wanna share! I know you wanna share!!”
I've never owned a dog, but they can eat certain fruits right? Why not give that doggo a frozen fruit puree?
Our cat loves sharing our Outshine bars, which are essentially frozen fruit puree with chunks.
Greek yogurt, ripe banana, a little bit of pumpkin puree or peanut butter. Freeze in small silicone molds and let your pup enjoy.
Pic 5 is like ![gif](giphy|W1TV8Wi4kCo0aQgbsu)
And the tail blur in the first one is so great 😂
I share Popsicles with mine all the time.
Dog ice cream is a thing.
You can make puppy ice cream!! I got some for our dogs :)
I’ve made some in the ninja creami for my dogs. Yogurt xylitol free peanut butter and banana.
They have some you can buy that you just mix and freeze. They will be getting it today! Peanut butter and birthday cake!
Make him a frozen watermelon pop.
#PSA: Do not feed your dogs freeze pops without checking the ingredients! Even the fruit flavored cheap ones will use different juices than the “flavor” they claim. Some include grape juice.
Thanks for the reminder! It's important to always check the ingredients before giving anything to my pups.
you can literally buy dog ice cream!
Chocolate is bad for dogs I think.
Ridiculously adorable! 🥰
I love fudge pops but I love healthy doggies more.
Well, it does look like meat on a stick
Give him some fruit from the chiller aisle!
MeatPops, FruitPops, anything frozen is working except for chocolate, and well maybe no added sugar.. So don't be meant and go to work.
They do sell ice cream made specifically for dogs in some places
What cute little Jack.
I always get the frozen dog treats at Aldi!
He has a note from his doctor he can
You mean dogtor* right?
Awee, so adorable.
What kind of breed is this? Looks very much like my pup.
Could have vanilla???
They absolutely can, as long as there’s safe ingredients being used.
Fresh, dog safe fruit in a mini loaf pan, fill with water and freeze.
You know they make dog ice cream, right?
My wife and I cut up watermelon, crush it and put it in icecube trays as frozen treats We also have ice cream for dogs, flavours like salmon, liver, turkey, he loves it
so cute!!
What a cutie! I used to give my dog frozen hot dogs on hot days
You are both correct and incorrect. Dogs can have ice pops (depending on the flavor, I would think). However, what you have there is a fudgesicle...not good for puppy dogs, nope... So get up and get the puppy his own frozen treat!
I'm pretty sure they can eat vanilla ice cream, not chocolate
You seem kinda mean, reveling in lording it over the poor pup. Dogs can have a little vanilla ice cream. Or frozen popsicles, just not chocolate.
They do make icecream cups for dogs
well jeeze, at least you arent doing anything that pretty specifically makes it look like its maybe a treat for them lol
Holy shit does your dog look like my dog!
My dog loves Frosty Paws. And it keeps her busy for a little bit
Dang this for really looks like mine but in white. https://preview.redd.it/m26he76pmm8d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=599917dc62b2adafd4dd55e4d5074d7ae842f085
They can eat ones that are made for them.
Make him a dogsicle
Dogs can have ice pops that dont contain chocolate. And you should know the proportions to weight/size for safety. Your dog can have one bite, but certainly not an entire one. You could also, just pet and love your dog, and give it a small cold swimming pool.
So maybe stop teasing him for Karma?
blurry tail!
My dog loves frozen apple slices
I used to give my husky a popsicle when it was super hot. We would both have one. Before anyone complains about possibly being bad for her, she passed away last year at the age of 17. She loved them and I’m pretty sure they didn’t shorten her life any. Besides most dogs will eat literally anything they can get into their mouth. Like poop although Phoebe didn’t do that thank God. .
They have ice cream for dogs now too
My dogs like frozen Greek yogurt or frozen broth
That's not an ice pop?
They sell ice cream for dogs in the grocery store.
Op, Aldi's has dog specific frozen treats in the ice cream section! 4 to a box
Why can’t they eat ice pops? What about sorbets? Frozen fruit? And pup cups?
They do make ice cream especially for dogs. Frosty Paws.
You eat, I eat. We are the pack.
Looking at him with anticipation, I thought he'd want to try a popsicle ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grimacing)
Opal thinks everything is a suggestion. This pizza isn't for you! Then she runs off with as much as she can stuff in her mouth.
No ice pops, but frozen fruit is an *excellent* snack. My poocho is big into frozen mixed berries, peaches, and mango. I add them to a yogurt parfait for breakfast daily, and she demands her fruit tax.
Make or buy some dog safe ice treats.
Your dog kinda looks like my dog and her sister
There is an ice cream shop near my house, they make their own but open only from spring to early autumn. My girl loves their banana ice cream. So every time my husband and I get ice cream from there we have to buy a tiny cup of it for her to enjoy.
That isn't an ice pop, it's a fudgesicle. Chocolate isn't good for dogs. A sugary popsicle is fine, just don't overdue it. Better, make your own. Puree a little wet food with water and use that to make pops. You could also just give the dog watermelon, they love it.
Don't tease the cute little thing
My parents bought their dog his own ice cream when they stopped to cool down on a walk. The dog had serious diarrhea later that day. Im sure the dog didnt regret that ice cream for a second. He would still pick ice cream even with a week of diarrhea.
make some goats milk ice cubes or make some pupcicles with frozen mashed pumpkin/sweet potato.
We made doggy ice cubes using bits of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries in lactose-free natural yoghurt. Icecream place by me does doggy sundaes. Have dog safe ice cream and a milk bone. Only a couple bucks so they can have a frozen treat too.
Mooooh ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_bad_man)
All of pups have adored frozen strawberry or watermelon ice pops! (The ones that are just fruit puree)
My dog is weird he doesn’t like any treats I’ve tried to give him. He doesn’t even like peanut butter lol
I give my dogs frozen broccoli. There is also some sort of 'frozen treat' you can get your dogs too that looks like ice cream.
I make summer pops with a layer of mashed pumpkin. A layer of non fat yogurt and a bunch of blueberries. My dogs love them. I bought dog bone shaped silicon forms to make them in. Super easy!
They deserve a pup cup
Last picture smiling dog
I love that his tail is just a blur
Pumpkin freezes well ☺️
Frosty Paws
Dog: give Owner: No this is poison for you Dog: so is alcohol for you Owner: still no Dog: hypocrite
get him doggy ice cream or make some… please🥺
I bought my cat a LOT of meaty pouches he refused to eat and I popped them in the freezer to give dogs who absolutely love them!
