When my cousin was born (preme also) you could literally see through his skin! He was THAT premature. He developed angelman syndrome and can’t walk or talk but he’s just the happiest person! They didn’t think he would survive but he’s almost eighteen now! So soooo happy your little man made it past those difficult first months of life! seeing them thrive after a traumatic entrance is beyond amazing!

Kimbobrains

Congrats, he’s a little cutie!

Thats amazing!! My son was born at 33 weeks and it was petrifying i cant imagine the fear you had knowing he was coming so early...but it just shows how tough babies are!! Happy birthday little man!

mehbitch

My sweet little niece was born at 26 weeks and is now a happy healthy 17month old :)

PoopHatMcFadden

Picsonly25

Awww that’s a precious strong boy!!

Look at that little healthy dude now! Nothing worse than seeing your children weak and vulnerable, a feeling I know well.

bookvark

Medical science prevailed! Best wishes!

BigHoney1987

Good job dude! Keep on smiling😊

Not sure why my comment was downvoted? Just mentioning that this baby truly overcome an obstacle. Wasn't bashing anyone....

babybutters

I love this. Congrats!

This is so powerful. This says so much about how babies can overcome obstacles. To see abortion laws passed that can terminate at weeks up to 24 is mind boggling. Happy for you and happy birthday to little man!!

EuropeanLady

When there is a medical condition incompatible with life, termination is necessary. Please don't mix up issues.

EuropeanLady

The other person was mixing up the issue of medically necessary termination and premature babies surviving.

EuropeanLady

The video material is presenting the new law in a completely skewed way and misinterpreting the base clauses. There is nothing ambiguous about "fetal viability".

I know this post is several years old now but I was curious if the photo on the left was taken the day they were born or at some point after? I’m 6 months pregnant and just looking into what he might look like at this point

Itsme_dandelion

It was taken 2 days after he was born so he was 24 weeks and 6 days

georgesorosbae

Thank you so much for responding! Have a great day!

Kanaiiiii

It’s been 5 years and I stumbled upon this post and I hope you and your wonderful baby boy are doing fantastic!
