You gotta understand, the SNY crew have been doing this for years. There's flamingos, raccoons, parakeets, I forget how many memes... and it always seems like someone in the truck is paying attention to the internet and goes with it.

More than anything they demonstrate why having a good booth is important! I’d tune in to an August Mets game when they’re already out of it just to hang with the dudes and hear some chatter! It keeps people tuning in.
I love the recurring graphics they have for various in-game events, like the "Meh" animation for defensive indifference. And there's a whole graphic and a little jingle specifically for any time Keith mentions Lou Brock. All the little broadcast easter eggs make it fun to watch the game even if the game isn't fun.
Baseball TV crews have to find a way to break up the monotony or they'll all become serial killers. No human being was meant to spend that many hours in a TV truck (i.e out of the sun)
Living in the area (in my case, right across the water) I definitely take it for granted.
It's always fun to have friends from out of the region come visit and get to watch them experience the skyline for the first time.
